Discover Canada Study Guide Audio (Timestamped Chapters, Official Citizenship Test, Captions)
Greetings, we created this official narrated Discover Canada Study Guide video with both English and French captions, included time stamps to each page and chapter to make studying easier. This way, you can easily jump back where you left off or re-read a chapter. It's the same official guide, just read with a female voice and including the text of each page! We also got a singer to perform the Canadian National Anthem and God Save the Queen.
There is another audio version of the Discover Canada Study Guide on UA-cam, but it does not include time stamps or individual pages scanned at high resolution as we have provided here. Our hope is that this video will supplement your studying by showing you the text and pictures as it is narrated by Emma Hefkey, a native Canadian English speaker www.voiceofemma.com/ and Adrian Operea, a British musical performer www.upwork.com/o/profiles/users/~01bd08c67b7f860862/

Removable Blackout Window Covering from IKEA - Cheap, Easy, No Film, Shade, or Curtain!
Переглядів 258 тис.4 роки тому
A while back, I created my own custom paper window covering that would create a blackout effect in my room, using command adhesives. That worked alright, but took time and was difficult to store because it just sat on the ground when not in use. Well, IKEA has created a wonderful product called SCHOTTIS Pleated Blackout Blind that is only $5.99! I purchased one and confirmed that it works great...

Stealth Car Camping in a Toyota Prius (Building a Bed, Staying Warm, Privacy & Security)
Переглядів 571 тис.7 років тому
Four years ago I started traveling cross country for work and fun. In order to save money I decided to try car camping and bought a used Toyota 4Runner. Ultimately, this wasn’t as comfortable or efficient and even though I built a comfortable bed inside the car itself just wasn’t working. After this, I purchased a used 2011 Toyota Prius and proceeded to modify it so that passengers could still ...
How to Anchor a Metal Shelf So it Won’t Tip - Wall Anchor Strapping Solution
Переглядів 42 тис.7 років тому
I built some metal shelves in a spare room at my Mom’s house but was concerned that they might tip over and crush me or another person if pulled at the top. At first, I went online and tried to find wall anchors made specifically for shelves but nothing really came up. Most of the solutions had to screw to something (like the wood bars of a dresser or shelves) or had stickers on one side (for u...
Cheap Removable Blackout Window Coverings - Better Than Film, Shades or Curtains
Переглядів 224 тис.7 років тому
I’m a bit of a light sleeper and have struggled with light leak around my window curtains. I bought them because they look great during the day when pulled up but they just don’t work very well at night (or in the morning when the sun comes up). For a while I tried pull down window shades but light still got in… Later I considered film but didn’t want a blurry window or depressing darkness duri...
Stadler Form OSKAR Humidifier Review - Quiet, Modern, Energy Efficient
Переглядів 112 тис.7 років тому
The OSKAR Humidifier is available in three sizes, six colors (Berry Pink, Black, Brown, Lime Green, Metal Silver and White) and is designed to operate without creating much noise and without using a lot of electricity. I purchased it because it looks ultra modern, like a piece of art, and would elevate and separate water and wet surfaces completely from my dresser. In addition to looking great ...
Zinus SmartBase Folding Mattress Foundation Review
Переглядів 86 тис.7 років тому
We were looking for a folding bed platform that would be light weight and easy to store and discovered the Zinus SmartBase mattress foundation. It’s designed to be high enough to store boxes underneath as under-bed storage and work with a basic mattress on top without a box spring. The frame is very quiet but sometimes finnicky and difficult to fold and unfold. I found the pins and arms would s...
LUCID Folding Mattress & Sofa with Removable Indoor Outdoor Fabric Cover Review
Переглядів 170 тис.7 років тому
I purchased the LUCID four inch thick folding mattress and sofa from Amazon to use in a spare room as a guest bed. It looked like an excellent solution because when folded, it stays out of the way and only cost $139 (for the queen size) vs. hundreds of dollars for a murphy bed, wall bed, bunk bed, futon or trundle bed. While the folded sofa floor chair orientation isn’t very high and looks a bi...
Heyburn Brushed Steel Accent Table Lamp with USB Port Review
Переглядів 2,3 тис.7 років тому
The Heyburn brushed steel accent table lamp with USB port is a small lamp that I found on Amazon and decided to try for my bedroom. It's modern and doesn't take up much table space and the shade is not going to get bumped as easily as a more traditional cone shape. The lamp measures 19 3/4" high x 6 1/4" wide and is rated to work with 60 watt or equivalent E26 light bulbs. I chose a Cree LED li...
Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds - Bose QuietControl 30 Review & Comparison
Переглядів 28 тис.7 років тому
The Bose QuietControl 30 headphones offer Bluetooth wireless connection to iOS and Android devices allowing you to adjust the level of acoustic noise cancelling. I purchased them because my Bose QuietComfort 20i headphones were making popping noises (perhaps due to the 3.5 mm headphone jack wearing out). With the wireless Quiet Control model I get better performance and don’t have to worry abou...
How to Fix Tilting Feiyu-Tech G4 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal
Переглядів 29 тис.7 років тому
Having owned several of the Feiyutech gimbals I have noticed a tilting problem where the camera leans to the left while filming. It seems that this problem worsens as the battery runs low and is sometimes worse than others. Upon searching UA-cam for solutions, I found several videos from people with the same issue. One proposed solution was to unscrew the gimbal and untwist wires… this didn’t w...
Feiyu-Tech G4 (3 Axis Hand Held Gimbal) Ordering, Unboxing, Software, Demo and Review
Переглядів 1987 років тому
The Feiyu-Tech G4 is a motorized three axis gimbal that's mounted to a handheld wand. This is a very similar design to those used on drones but I use mine for filming short videos with my GoPro. The unit works with most GoPro 3 and GoPro 4 units and can even fit the larger deeper back because it has extra long screws (incuded). This unit was purchased on Amazon for ~$395 and has worked well des...

VR Ready Laptop Options - Oculus Rift and HTC Vive Compatible

For those who travel for work frequently or just don’t have a lot of space, a VR laptop might be the best option. Wait. was the solar panel aftermarket? because a search pulls up "experimental" and 2023. I love this tho. ALSO when you cover the cooler's vents with the pillow -- it's disconnected? (otherwise fire/burnout risk) How long does it keep?

Can you remove it conveniently or does it always have to stay in the down position? basically, I’m trying to get a cheaper version of it. That allows me to bring it up when I wanna allow light to come in but easily stretch down to block out the light when I need it.

Nice video and good information. I wouldn’t recommend the plastic pipe hanger material because it could become brittle over time and possibly crack/break. It is easier to use but the extra effort to use the galvanized steel material (or even a polyester high strength strap is worth it in the long run I think.

Great vid! Just curious if these shade block out the heat entering the room due to the exposure of the sun during the day. My apartments two big windows are always facing the sun throughout the day and it's just unbearable when I get home. Too hot.

How do you raise the paper blind easily, for example when you want to work at a desk during the day. Last week I bought a very similar blackout paper blind, though not from IKEA and I bought it for the same reason, namely insomnia caused by ambient light especially during the summer. However, I've found collapsing the concertina is frustrating. Although the blind did come with plastic clips, I find plastic clothes pegs are easier to use. My latest method is to raise the centre first, clip with a clothes peg, then raise each side and clip. But it's not instantaneous like if you had a proper blind with a cord. So how do you raise these blinds?

I definitely need to try something like this. I am not a morning person. And I have the problem where the curtains don’t block all of the light. It peaks through the top. I might run to Home Depot and check out what I read. In the other comments. I also have a craft store right across the street from where I live. So first I’m going to check out what options they have. I might just buy some really thick, dark material And just tack it to the wall. At this point, I don’t care. I wake up every morning when the sun starts coming up. I do get back to sleep, but I hate always waking up when the room starts getting lighter.

I know this is old a old video. But it's still a product that's being sold and I'm interested in. My question is: if you start the device... Then unplug the device and then plug it back in... Is it on? Or do you have to turn it on? I'm planning on using it in my Smarthome and need a device that saves the last setting after being without electricity
