This is such a good film - funny, thrilling and finally almost magical. The last few minutes seem almost to conjure up a magical spell. They really, really do not make them like this any more. Perfect for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
We watched this just last night and the moment the titles came on and the beautiful music started we both said, 'hey, it's a proper film!', and we knew it was going to be a million times better than the carp that passes for films these days. It's a rollicking good ride, sit back, open the bottle of wine and enjoy!
I'm getting really tired of people taking a lovely classic movie and ascribing "erotic" undertones to it...especially homoerotic tones. Can't you just leave a good flick alone? Why ruin it?

George is extremely attractive but I still think Cary is the whole package.
