Nicollet Mall is the core northeast-southwest transit corridor in downtown Minneapolis, serving a variety of local buses on a mostly bus-only street with stations every two blocks or so. This video features clips in both rain and shine, including skyway footage. Unfortunately the audio was quite messy for one clip, so I opted to cut the volume for that section.

Great compilation, there are some very nice postcards, you can see the dedication and work. Thanks for sharing, greetings from Chile :)
Your stations are a lot nicer than ours in LA
Amazing quality video! Really nice shots.
Thanks! Unfortunately my current video editor doesn't support HDR so some clips have muted colors but otherwise I think I got quite a few decent clips.
Excellent video, likes from me.
I should really get going on my SAFEGE monorails video. There’s a plaza to the south of Chiba Central station on the monorail where the track level is only 40ft ish above the ground. Also this line is known for promoting a particular incest anime. Oh dear.
I wish you would have gone to Tamagawa Station; those quad-track sections are super fun for filming. It's like an interstate highway but for commuter trains haha
I did in fact go there - there's footage from the lower level of course but I opted for the shrine view of the tracks as recommended on tokyorailwaylabyrinth.blogspot.com/2023/04/railway-bridge-on-tokyu-toyoko-and.html. For the trunk corridor I chose Motosumiyoshi for footage instead since it had the overpass over the tracks + was a six track station due to the Toyoko Line passing tracks.
This was also one of the line I wish I had time to see in detail, especially around Tachikawa station. Anyways, you seem to have got a lot of filming accomplished. How long was your trip?
Three weeks, though not all of it was dedicated to trains. I unfortunately did not see as much as I wanted to but given time constraints, I saw what I could. Not seeing the Yokohama Subway was an acceptable sacrifice. The fact that nearly every shrine shuts down at 5 PM + the threat of last trains in outer areas being earlier than expected limited how much I could see as well. For the Tama Monorail, if I hadn't learned about the 25th anniversary stamp rally AFTER I was about to leave (I had to go back and revisit half of the network during what felt like PM Rush Hour), I probably would have seen the northern section as well, but I ended up bailing early so I could shove the Seibu network into my evening.
I have 3 weeks in late October-November; I’m hoping to hit the five remaining Linear Motor train lines, the Nagoya Busway, Linimo, as well as the Sapporo Metro.
The Shin-Yokohama chokutsu seems to be working well. Nice to see fellow English transit channels do trainspotting in Japan, especially in areas outside of Tokyo.
It definitely seems to be making quite the difference, even if it functions as a reverse branch for Sōtetsu (the Sōtetsu section where the lines overlap is not quad tracked) and the Tōkyū side is not exactly doing well from a ridership-perspective. It does make the network incredibly complicated though.

Never even enters Bergen County - What a scam of a name - should be renamed the Hudson lightrail! Time to build that extension to Bergen County!
For a significant time, I thought the HB stood for Hoboken because why would the line be named after a place it doesn't go to? (Naturally, there are other similar situations elsewhere, e.g. the Tojo Line doesn't reach Gunma, etc, but this is the one closest to home)
Originally in the 1990s when they were still planning the line, it was actually called the Hudson-Jersey City Light Rail. Both Union and Bergen County wanted in on the project initally. The name was changed to the Hudson-Union-Bergen (HUB) Light Rail. Then the real estate market in NJ boomed the old railroad right-of-ways the line was suppose to use all of sudden had all this opposition to the project. On the Elizabeth end, they couldn't find funding to build a bridge over Newark Bay. (The Elizabeth portion would've basically revived the Bayonne Scoot in Light Rail form). So Union County pulled out whole Bergen County remained onboard. Now the name was shortened to Hudson-Bergen Light Rail. This remained this way until Tenefly in 2008 threw a massive stink that got the Anti-Rail Governor's attention and he effectly took the Bergen County portion of the plan out back and gave it the Ol' Yeller Treatment. So we were left with only the Hudson portion of the system and by the time the Tenefly extension was killed, the trains were already rolling with the HBLR moniker. Their logic is why change it now, our foot is already in our mouth.

They could have just made a tram way
The initial plan was to make use of the busway to have like a dozen different routes converging on it so that you could reach multiple destinations. ...This did not happen, negating the main benefit of using a busway over a tramway. So yes, as currently operated a tramway would have made more sense, but politics and money got in the way regardless.

Nice video 😊
Nice video. Montreal has some of the finest station examples that demonstrate that concrete (brutalist) architecture can be inspirational and pleasant to enjoy 😍 Angrignon, Cadillac and Monk are some of my favourite examples.
ah yes my ebike battery saving method when delivering
I just like the B90/B92.
:19 thats how to get yourself killed.
The last of the C cars were decommissioned earlier this month. The distinctive buzzing sound of the Westinghouse DC chopper control motors that all the BART cars initially were equipped with when they first went into service has passed into history.
They really gotta speed up this line…
This summer I'm going to make a video of me riding the Metro North train all the way from New Haven to New York City
One of my favourite cities and great tram network!
So many lines
I have just come across this video today Monday 24th of October 2022. (British 24/10/2022). I live in London and have travelled over the entire DLR network although because my flat is a few miles to the north I don't actually use it under normal circumstances. But the DLR will soon be getting some new walk-through trains which I can't wait to sample. Best wishes.

This is in Baltimore, Maryland. Their transit agency is also called the MTA but the M is for Maryland.
@@sparenofnyc oh okay
someone rode off with mid fat legs up in here " dang"
I prefer the older P86 cars. These look weird to me.
Not the Green line. It was the Metro Subway. Now it's MetroSubwayLINK
Were is the Red Line
BART or NY Subway?
This footage was taken on the BART network. If you're asking my personal preference, I still prefer New York.
SparenofNYC I was asking your personal preference. I know this is the BART system
You forgot the Red Line!
It's not that I didn't take it - I just didn't have enough time during my bus layover to film the parts I wanted to, unfortunately.
This is the B90/92 rolling stock. On the newer kind (B07), the front end is rounded and the door windows extend to the floor, while they have more black and less red
this is not nyc
@@YourAverageRailfan why are you replying to a comment from 3 years ago
The darkness is "a part" of the typical MF67 rolling stock.
I like
I heard that they were supposed to be replaced this year
when will there be new ones
+Andrew Gordon Baltimore's current fleet was just rehabbed, and they only run half their trains during the standard rush hour (afaik). So we can expect around 15-20 years before they are replaced.
+SparenofNYC 15 to 20 years! the miami metrorail will start to retire ours in 2017
