*Go listen to Hit The Lights off Kill Em' All and then listen to this song again. You can 100% hear the connection. But I don't know why ppl listen to this song as if Metallica has something to prove. They've already done that 100 times over. Do I like this song? Yes. Does it blow my mind? No, but it doesn't have to. They're 60 years old, still putting out quality music and that's good enough for me. I absolutely agree with Nergal. To me, it sounds like someone who has, somehow, deep regrets about getting into the music industry trip. The guy probably sacrificed his life for his passion for music (I believe he also has a degree in museum conservation or something) and it seems like, way down the line, he wonders if it was really worth it. I have came up with the same conclusions recently, personally. The music business is a long lonely road, and you might want to get a good job, travel, create a family, and just enjoy life eventually. As of 2022
