Hi friends! After a quick flight from Houston to San Antonio we checked into our hotel @MarriottBonvoy and headed out to walk the river! Join us for some chips and queso, good convo, and plenty of laughs🥰

I have lived in San Antonio all my life. It always gives me a kick to see my city from a tourists point of view. The downtown Riverwalk, Alamo, area is a huge tourist trap, with crazy drink and food prices. Very few locals go to this downtown area as we have been going there since we were kids and have seen everything way too many times! also we know better and cheaper places to eat. The Riverwalk area is just a very small part of San Antonio. San Antonio has almost 2 Million people and it is the 7th largest city in the USA. But for some reason, tourist think the downtown area is all of San Antonio? I would advise anyone who really wants to try Good San Antonio Mexican food to find a Local and ask them what restaurant they recommend. I guarantee it will not be in the downtown area. You will need to drive or take an Uber out of that area to find much better Mexican food etc. Thanks for coming.

I was there back in the 80s. The little cars were freaky and looking down from above was freaky too. You are not alone.

Went back in April and the river had a smell to it. Was there for a conference. Also, the Riverwalk was packed. I did enjoy my night visit to the Alamo. The $20 burger at my hotel was good lol. Good vid!
Oh no! It didn’t smell when I was there, so maybe just the time of year? I checked out the Alamo as well, I just didn’t film any of it😂 Glad you enjoyed the video!!

I found the Irish pub when I was there in 2013 and had a cool Gunness in a frosted mug. it was nice and cool in there and was not busy at all but was a weekday. was looking for a good steak dinner but didn't want to spend 100 bucks for one so went out by the Airforce base where I was working at to Texas Roadhouse and had a delicious huge Ribeye. Yummy
Oh that sounds delicious! Texas Roadhouse is my go-to when I want a steak😎
Thanks, Kay, for responding being as busy as you are. When you are in San Antonio the Roadhouse is on the other side of the highway from Lackland and Kelly AirForce bases. Great place to have dinner but is busy. Love your channels.

Kay, Enjoyed the Epcot trip. Being of German decent, the trip to Germany was closer to my heart. The food definitely made me hungry! I have many moons ago got to spend 3 weeks in Germany. Someday hope to get back to see my relatives. Again Enjoying Both of your YTube channels

I loved Disney as a kid and Epcot too when we went for our honeymoon decades ago. But I will never do Disney again. Disney raised their prices to filter out the poor and those who can scrape enough together get a second rate experience because people with more money pay to have goods and services diverted from them. I don't mind when people pay more to get more, but paying to take from others is going too far. Never again.

I drank around the Disney World, and was expensive with little alcohol. Unless you just enjoy the flavors of a mixed drink with little alcohol, I recommend staying away.*Edit* I did forget about Germany which had good beer.
Definitely expensive and I don’t drink much so for me it wasn’t about the booze but Germany was definitely awesome😊

Boeing sent us to Orlando for business and one day was for us to choose between visiting Disney World or Kennedy Space center and we went to the Space center. Got to see Space shuttle Atlantis up close as the crews worked on it. Great tour and we also saw a night launch. So cool back in 2004
That’s awesome! I haven’t done the Space Center tour yet but it’s on my list😊
Pretty sure they still do the tours but no space shuttles anymore. They are probably all working on the new stuff. All the badges they have to get in and out of there is something to see.
It's a good job that you didn't buy that viking helmet... It would have gotten in the way when trying to wear your headphones.
