I’m from Scotland and we don’t have bull riding , a lot of people don’t like it these days but personally I think these guys are absolute warriors. One huge difference between Canada and the USA (and Switzerland) is that the states have residual powers in the USA. If it is not in the constitution, it belongs to the state. Trudeau, worse than his dad, has tried by all sort of interpretations, take power from the provinces. And residual powers are federal in Canada. In the USA, with all due respect, the 17th amendment was a disaster increasing the power of the feds. The senators should be chosen by a process decided by each state as it was before the 17th. The founding fathers tried really hard to balance the power of the feds and the state. The 17th amendment threww a monkey wrench into this balance.

Culture: this is why the province of Quebec was first against Trudeau's immigration. The rest of Canada followed when the prices of the houses and the vagrancy went through the roof. On free speech, Canadians are uniformely worse than Americans.
