Thanks heaps! So I've tested it with the silver jubilee cab (I believe it has the v30's or the g12 vintage speakers).. That's what was in this video. The paradise city instrumental on my channel is with the Behringer cabinet and that has Bugera Speakers in it (from factory and they sound absolutely amazing) I've tested it with the greenback speakers I have but never recorded them with the greenbacks yet, I should do that soon actually! I've recently bought the ToneX capture so I can capture the sound of my amps and each speaker to allow me to use it in the box and ensure my valves stay good for a long time :) I'll be doing a review on this too!

I've got all mics mixed in this, you could go a sevr1, they are great! Bit expensive now but worth it. The 57 is great, good mic

@@mcsstudiosunderdevelopment6257 I was actually thinking about getting E906 because I can just hang it from the top of the cab (I don´t want to buy another mic stand :D). Does the E906 sound good with the SM57 or is it too agressive?

I really like the greenbacks, they don't have that midrange like the v30, its kinda smoother with more highs to some extent, easier to mix as the midrange is flatter compared to the v30. In most of my mixes, the lead sounds are the v30 and rhythm is greenback but on hammer to fall video I used only the greenbacks and the sv20h. I guess it depends on what I'm going for in the mix. It'd help having a reamper and a DI box to play the same tune and decide what speaker or blend of speaker sounds best

100% 59 les paul into a small marshall micro amp will sound crap Epiphone with the same electronics as a gibson will sound pretty close to a gibson into a marshall I'd rather spend money on Amps and mics then 10k on a Gibson. I've also got a 2008 slash gibson goldtop and I prefer to play this Epiphone 😂

@@mcsstudiosunderdevelopment6257It's not required, The only thing that is switched is the voltage on the screen grids of the poweramp stage. In 50W mode it runs the pentode tubes in triode mode (by bringing the plate and the screen grid to the same potential) and this also explains why it sounds a little duller on the 50W mode. Tubes in triode mode have higher internal capacitance from plate to grid attenuating the high end a little bit.

I only ever use my pedals in the front of the head not the loop, I used to run the eq in the loop years ago, but I'd say I like it more in font from memory I'll do a video where I run a few things in the loop when I get round to it Yeah room sounds different I'd say, like the amp has gain but it's not a modern high gain, it's more in the hands the tone comes from as I've noticed from playing other amps
