I listen to country music too (especially old country) and it has definitely influenced some of my writing too.

@ fabulous story songs come out of the country genre and anyone who avoids this is sadly missing out . Pop music is fantastic for what its job is ie innovation.. but like described the bubble soon bursts .. country , folk , blues, rock , etc.. everlasting……. Well in my opinion ha ha . I'm not a fan of rap, and I used to have a T-shirt that said "Disco Sucks!" - but truth be told, I do like some disco songs. Thanks Robert an old revisit to an old number I wrote . I find it quite a challenge to strip apart something I have never played straight like that . It was a home studio project that I recorded with guitar and second guitar lots of effects as well as bass then did the vocals.. ha ha it’s fun 🌎🫠take care
