I dropped the series like 20 years ago at the school... Only now after 20 years I come across this video and learn that Fry and Leela marry in the end. I used to ship them so hard... Now I feel old but satisfied
The Late Phillip J. Fry: Fry got stuck thousands of years in the future and Leela thinking he ditched her in her birthday and died, took over Planet Express, and albeit she was very succesful, she still missed Fry and tried to fill that void with Cubert, and ended up aging sad and alone. 👵😢 Here: Leela and Fry get married, and despite everyone else being frozen and them not being succesful business people, are still happy together in their old age❤🤵👰♀️👵🧓 That's a good change 🧡💜
How does freezing time let you walk on water? Leela literally blew a snowflake and it moved, meaning the water should have been capable of moving too. This was literally the best ending they had though.
When I first watched this as it came out and heard Chopin, I immediately was overwhelmed with bittersweet emotions. I bawled because it reminded me that they played this song at my Grandpa's funeral. He was a genius, a hell of a marine and wonderful man, though I didn't know him too long. He loved to play classical piano, especially Chopin. Rest easy, Grandpa. Wish i could have gotten to know you better ❤️🫡
The ocean bit is kind of funny, because they DO move stuff fairly easily, so it's interesting that they don't just sink like normal. Like they can walk through the frozen air just fine. My theory is water is incompressible, so maybe with all the other water they're not touching not moving out of the way there's nowhere for the displaced water to go, so it stays mostly stable under their feet.
On the topic of the frozen air, though, since the air doesn't move without their intervention, I imagine it's good they decided to wander the earth because the air where they hung out normally was probably pretty oxygen poor after they'd breathed it for a while. Kind of like sharks, they've got to keep moving or suffocate.
I believe it's implied near the end that Leela and Fry intended to jump off the building together after finishing the champagne so that they would die together in their old age.

0:57 - 2:22 Envy open the Truth of Gate... And he is death by the light beam. In FMA 2003
That montage from 0:56 to 2:20 is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in television, ever
2:17 That list says "On a Mammoth"...
Fas perfekte ende!
This was good enough
Would have made sense to call it the Vampire Stake Building instead.
2:00 I didnt even think about the fact that the water would also be frozen in time and therefore they could just walk on the surface
Its nice of them to include Zoidberg in their weeding
This is my favorite clip from the series.
Now that the series has returned, it makes me wonder if Fry and Leela will ever have a proper wedding.
Fry’s anger issues is the reason they never had kids just made me laugh so hard
And also possibly of the fact their kids would have ended up all alone in the frozen universe after Fry and Leela died
This was a good ending 🧡💜
Futurama had several excellent series finales since it got cancelled multiple times, but this was the best

Finally he left the friendzone
Leela broke scrappys back
Fry and Leela are one of the best couples in all of fiction. They’re made for each other
4:19 U’d
If you think about it, this is the same ending as Fry’s opera.
Fransworth found Leela and fry in future
Brianna Shead ❤ February 14th Valentine Day holiday she kiss Brianna Shead New Mom and Brianna new father she grew up in holidays

I cried always by the last episode, so cute and lovely ☺️
4:07 Profess snatch it
They've been happy couple.
I can’t let Fry And Leela end with my relationship just yet until this season is over and over and over again!

"If it keeps bugging us we either kill it or adopt it."
even though i really like the new season so far it makes me a little sad that this isn't the series finale anymore
1:50 I can't help but notice this kid's dumping water on this woman's back while her bra is off.
The world moves for love.
Futurama really was ahead of its time. There are few shows which get me that invested in the characters.
This was the best ending I have ever seen in an animated series

Brutal disease to choose what position to spend the rest of your life or to die choking, but would I do it again? I already have. ❤

If religion exists after 1000 years, that proves that people are very stupid and evolution stopped.

@@Smartness_itselfreligion has existed for thousands of years, it’s very unlikely it will cease to exist in just 1000 years.

It’s almost been 10 years since I first saw this episode back in December 2013, when Futurama was on Netflix, and when I was in 3rd grade!!😢
