@@IllusionQueen4Eva Yeah it’s definitely tricky with the guqin. It’s definitely the most tricky part of the assembly with getting a feel for revere the pegs are. And then if you mess it up with the hand placement you have to make sure you don’t break any strings. And thank you for the lore and your thoughts on the figure! ☺️ I haven’t gotten too far into the series. Ive just read the first two volumes of the comic adaptation. And that’s a neat idea with turning the figure around every once in a while! I feel like thats a cool touch that figures rarely have. The whole composition this figure is stunning and I agree that the natural elements are very well done. And I’m glad you got a very nice copy! ✨ I wish mine didn’t have the scuff on Lan Wangji’s hair. 😭

@@SakuraUnboxing Yeah it's such a cool touch, having something like that hidden behind a figure. It was one of the reasons why I felt like I had to get it. It was just too neat. And yeah, it's a shame about the scuff. With how expensive it is, it should have been packed better.

@@GoldenGoomyGoo I agree! I’d say a majority of figures have gone down slightly in the aftermarket. The only exceptions I feel like have skyrocketed were the Remilia and Scarlet Alter figures and the Mononoke Medicine Seller figure which even though that got a rerelease it still skyrocketed. I looked on AmiAmi and searched by manufacturer, Furyu for example, for sale items and they have 5 pages so it feels like a good chunk of figures they make tend to go down in price and just overstock. For my absolute favorite series like Witch Hat Atelier I’m not skipping out whatsoever because of how much I love the series. Plus with how popular it is I’m not going to miss out because I’ve got a gut feeling that aftermarket will be brutal.

I will say this because I’ve been displaying this figure for a few months now and the Roar of Time effect piece got Dialga has sagged significantly. I have a sting tied around the piece and around the top part of Dialga’s head to keep it up. 😭

@@fairybro Yeah with how many orders people are cancelling it definitely adds up. And I feel bad for some places because they have to sometimes severely discount the item to just get it out of stock. Honestly I have some order regrets. Like I brought the SkyTube musical instrument girls illustrate by Tony for like over 20K yen and how that are a little over 15K yen. I managed to sell them, but it was a pain with trying to sell them and make a slight profit. Also I did see the Samurai girl from the Falslander series go for 13K yen I think? But yeah the Succubus figure and those SkyTube girls hit me the hardest. 😭

Yup, since last year I don’t pre order figures anymore, during the pandemic it was so bad you couldn’t get yours grails, now grails are being rereleased, and figures don’t sell out, and they all get a big discount like you said after a month or two, hopefully it stays this way until Christmas, but order your figures two weeks before Christmas, because it takes almost a month for figure to ship during Christian’s/new years week!

@@sasamiadachi Yeah seeing those markdowns are a gut punch. 😭 I feel like it can also have to do with over saturation of a character and just people cancelling because of financial changes. I feel like if it’s from a very popular series then it would be best to order or a company does not do rereleases like Native.

@@angelmakima I agree that rereleases are frequent nowadays with some manufacturers. I feel like it’s a very small percent that really go up in the aftermarket like the Remilia and Flandre Alter figures. But Alter will do another rerelease somewhere down the line so people will just have to be patient. Like I can’t say how the aftermarket will be on a second rerelease, but people might order them to avoid that issue. It’s all about playing the waiting game for sales.

@@zekken987 Honestly I’m hoping the same price for him, but seeing how much Oberon was I feel like Muramasa might be closer to between 35k to 40k yen. Maybe it’s the base that’ll raise the price compared to Arjuna and Karna. I hope that the Anastasia figure gets painted soon! I no feel like they took forever on the prototype so I hope it won’t be long on the coloring. Also thank you for taking the time to comment on these recent videos! ☺️✨

@@zekken987 I’m quite excited for the Nobu figure! She looks so menacing and cool! The Aniplex Castoria is cool! I do like some parts of it that aren’t in the Good Smile version. I hope you can get Oberon in the future! I didn’t look at the dimensions for him so I’ll have to worry about that in the future. 😂 I’m kind of surprised with Wakamo’s price considering the detail and props for the figure. Also worried about her size I didn’t read the dimensions for her as well. 😂

@@zekken987 I got very lucky checking AmiAmi that day because I feel like they would have been snatched up so fast. 😭 And I’m glad that you managed to pick them up for a good price! I’m so happy they rerelease the Saber Alter Kimono figure. 😭 I’m glad I didn’t have to pay those aftermarket prices. I don’t have a lot of Kadokawa figures so I was very impressed with this one! I definitely recommend the Melt figure! I did see her on sale on AmiAmi, but it sucks that she’s single shipment. 😭 Hopefully you can eventually get her for a great deal! ✨

I think she is pretty good overall. I saw on AmiAmi, not sure if she is still on there preowned, for under $200. Definitely a steal although I can’t imagine the shipping for her. 😭

I’m glad most of the figures I liked am mostly likely plan to pick up are on the cheaper side. I’m definitely excited to see Violet colored! Hopefully she looks great especially for fans of the series who’ve been waiting for a proper scale of her.

@@kirksone I haven’t gotten too far into HSR. I mostly do my daily tasks and that’s about it since I don’t have other things to work on. Yeah doing a garage kit would be a challenge. I would worry about dropping something and ruining the figure. 😭

@@SakuraUnboxing I build model kits for a hobby and vehicles and equipment no problem. But faces and eyes and such your right to easy to make a mistake and I would rather have it already assembled by professionals. As I have seen some great looking resins for sure.

@@kirksone That’s cool! I’ve bought some model kits in the past and they are pretty fun to put together. I agree that faces can be a pain to get right especially with making things line up right or else you’ll have to start over. 😭

@@SakuraUnboxing Truly some of the kits i build have figures and i paint them adequately. Also cost is a factor your right you don't want to spend megabucks and come up with a disappointing result.

I agree! I feel like with how well the reception was for Remilia and Flandre were they are tapping into another series besides gacha games. Like there’s nothing wrong with that, but they have been mainly doing figures from those types of games for a while now. Also with the Pokémon figures I’d love to see gym leaders, evil teams, etc he made in the future. That would be very cool!

An overwhelming amount why did so many get released or delayed to January. 😭 I’m at least glad the big ones were paid off.

The yen is starting to rise which is worrying for future months. 😭 Mostly on AmiAmi since on Good Smile of you change it to USD and order the figure that was it locks the price I believe. I am always excited for more Fate scales especially for the male characters! Too bad they are all 1/8ths. 😭

Also I would not preorder the Dimitri, just because you already have so many complaints about him... In the end he will take up space you could use for a figure you would love way more, I think.

Oopsie. I submitted my previous comment early by mistake. xD To answer your question at the end of the video on what figures I have pre-ordered, I only have several Nendoroids pre-ordered for 2024 and 2025, mainly from Hololive. For everything else I am interested in, I am waiting for their release before deciding if I will commit to their purchase or not. I have been noticing lately that my excitement for new figures often wanes a couple of months after I place my pre-order. Also I am running low on display and storage space. This will help me curtail my new acquisitions.

My Oberon collection is…definitely getting up there. 😂 I don’t have every single piece of Oberon merch since some of it is quite expensive in the after market so I’m waiting a while on stuff like that. And even though the scale is expensive I worry about him going up in price in the aftermarket because of how popularity and this is his first proper scale figure. Idk that’s just my logic, but who knows a year from now. I could take an L on this one if I’m wrong. 😂 I adore Wakamo’s character design so much. Like I don’t really buy swimsuit figures, but this one is gorgeous! I hope those are her only two outfits or I’m in trouble. 😭 I am leaning towards waiting for the aftermarket for the Dimitri scale. I think at one point in time on AmiAmi I think both the Ike and Marth scales were on sale or cheaper. Like these figures don’t really shoot up in price like the older Fire Emblem figures.

@@sasamiadachi Nice! I’ve been slowing down on the Nendoroids quite a bit. Besides the Snow Miku, Fluffy Land Nendos and Oberon Nendo I just don’t see myself hitting the PO button. In an older video I think I said I would start collecting Demon Slayer/Chainsaw Man Nendoroids as they go up for preorder, but I’ve stopped doing that. Like I enjoy those series, but it doesn’t motivate me to order them right away. Also same with Dungeon Meshi. I love that series so much, but idk I just didn’t feel like picking any of them up. Probably my one exception. Is Izutsumi because she’s my favorite and then for Chainsaw Man it would be Angel if they ever made him. And I agree that the excitement for a preorder dwindles over time for some figures. I didn’t mention it in this video, but I cancels the Suguru Geto JJK scale by estream. On AmiAmi he’s close to $240 now because of the yen fluctuating and I just had to say no at that point. Plus I think the Yuta Okkotsu scale by estream went on sale on AmiAmi so I’m hoping the same happens with Geto.

@@sasamiadachi Awww that’s nice you to consider giving her to them! ✨ She is very cute so definitely give her a look over to see if you want to keep her. I really hope the Sarah figure has great quality. I know that some BINDing bunnies might now have matched the promo photos and it looks like there were QC issues with some so I’m really hoping that’s not the case with her. Like it doesn’t have to match the photos they showed 100%, but u don’t want her to look noticeably off. For me it’s definitely waiting for when it’s close to the end of the preorder period. In the past I just jumped on the preorder right away without giving it some thought on how it would fit in my collection. Thankfully Good Smile gives you a preorder window, but like with AmiAmi they don’t and depending on the manufacturer they only take a set amount of orders. I know with Nin Nin Game and Kotobukiya figures with bonus heads/faceplates you have to be quick about it since it’s very limited. And with AmiAmi I hope I’m fine. I feel like if you buy a lot more than you cancel then you’re fine and as long as you don’t cancel when they ask for the payment which I understand. I would definitely like to do more con type videos! And thank you for the info! Meal prepping before hand is something I should plan the day before a con and not having to rush to prepare something the day of. Especially when I got there very early to get on the first line. I think on that same level as the lines to wait to get in there was a food court, but I’m not too sure if they were open or if security would allow you to go to that area for food.

@@SakuraUnboxing Were many other people vlogging there? I have an idea of UA-cam as oversaturated but I'm not sure if this is correct in reality. But yeah, it will be very interesting seeing the future conventions and how this industry changes in the future. 🙂 Hm I wonder why those food court vendors weren't there maybe it was something to do with exclusive vendor permits. What I like to do is get a big 1 lb bag of sugar snap peas and eat them raw throughout the day bc thats some water, fiber, and boosts the blood sugar enough to do something without too much to cause a crash later. 🙂

Like they are quite overpriced, but then seeing people sell them for close to $300 is crazy. There is definitely a lot to do at conventions so I agree that planning definitely helps! I wish I could have gone with friends, but unfortunately they couldn’t get Friday off. I’m glad that I could make the most of the day with the 1 day pass at least. And yeah there was a bunch of vtuber stuff and they were playing some sort of vtuber fighting game which was interesting. 😂
