I wonder if Iman knew of his bi-sexuality and accepted it, or did he somehow tell her that was all for ‘show’. I can’t image myself wanting to take a chance with a bi-sexual person lest they should ever decide they wanted the other sex as has happened many times over with other people. Somehow they had a wonderful marriage and I’m so happy that they did.

Honestly, Sid and Nancy weren’t all bad. They were both still kids. They both came from really harsh and unpleasant backgrounds. They both received very addictive drugs from their parents at an early age,(Sid was given hard street drugs from his mom, and if you listen to Nancy’s childhood story, her mom had zero clue how to deal with her and lost all patience with her. Nancy was put on really toxic pharmaceutical drugs when she was very young). Quite frankly I’m very sick of hearing negative comments about Sid or Nancy. Some say Nancy was loud and annoying but from what I see, she was only trying to assert herself in a time when women were just expected to play the role of shut up. I think they had many good traits as a couple for their age and background. Also, they were both very preconditioned by their childhoods to later become addicts. (You don’t have to dig too deep to see the evidence of this). Under the circumstances they both did their very best. (Dysfunctional? Maybe, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t genuinely adore each other)…And also, there never really was any true conclusion that Sid was guilty and whatever the case he died only a couple months later. Probably couldn’t live without her, poor chap.❤

or maybe he couldn't bear the weight of having killed her even though he was in love but stoned in disagreement perhaps with so many things that we can't know because they belong to a couple... maybe he too sometimes couldn't stand her and the heroine spreads but first if you're in abstinence you become an animal

Honestly, it's complicated. I'm a Brit living in the USA, so I know first-hand that your accent changes when you go emigrate to another country, or even having a partner of a different nationality. My accent is now too Americanized to be fully British, but British enough to where everyone asks me where I'm from when they meet me. However, her mother published a book about raising Nancy, and she always did exaggerated accents to match her partner. Before Sid, she was dating someone from Deep South, so when she introduced him to her family, she had a super exaggerated "country girl" accent that (from her mother's POV) was super faked. I personally think it could have been both wanting to match Sid, and her environment changing.
