Giving is truly mater of the heart, not of law but Neglecting one portion of scripture and misrepresenting it is wrong. Reading just a part of scripture wich fits your opinion is wrong. Even you said some good things your final conclision is wrong. Jesus never said: Stop giving the tithe, he said dont forget to do it, continue to do it, dont neglect it. If your heart is truly given to the Lord, you will give more then tithe. If it is not, you will give less.

Tithing is for the Jewish people as outlined in the Old Testament, in the New Testament it’s free will giving. You cannot out give God.

The,Tithe is the law. Only the Levitical priests can receive the Tithe. If only have 9 sheep You are not able to Tithe. Paul reminded the Galatians that they could not use the law for Salvation. IE circumcision. He said why don't you go whole way and castrate yourselves speaking to the Jews who were trying to get the Gentiles to obey the law. We are saved by Grace. Not obeying the law

I thank God for at long last answering my prayer in that I asked "why, God why?" For the first time in my life of 50 years I now know why I never fit in anywhere and why im so different to anybody else. I've been caged up my entire life, not being able to be me nor free. The tithe is a sacrifice to God. It shows our love and trust in Him. It also can be used to further His Kingdom on Earth. However some preachers have used it for manipulation sadly.
