Hey so first some much needed context, this is a just a super small scale project I made for a final English assignment I had, which was to introduce the class to a book we read over the semester with a presentation involving any creative project we could muster. So, naturally, I thought of making a GD Level since that's what I do best, and the project was accepted. In this case I used the GD Level to showcase some of the scenery described in "The Virginian" which takes place in Wyoming. I presented it a week ago and have now graduated so that's cool.
The level is not by any means impressive, but I did make it in under 4k objects which is by far the highest optimization of any of my projects (except White Hole ofc). It was fun seeing what I could do with particles to do so, which is how I made the grass and flowers in the bg and terrain in the closer fg. Either way, this level doesn't serve much purpose in terms of my passions for building so there's not much else to say.
I'll take this opportunity though to update y'all about other projects. This summer (or at least this year) you should expect 4 levels from me, the Falling Maze remake, The Vermin Queen, a new minigame, and Tar Spit. The FM remake is almost done, but I'm going on a 2 week trip, so stay tuned fellas, buh bye
