Glazed sweet less orange

Levant smells a tad fruitier than Valaya to me.

I have a lot Perfumes with that scentprofile: Levant, Valaya, Fleur Narcotique, Afnan Fleur Bouquet and Mystique Bouquet, Van cleef & Arpels Neroli Amara. They are very similar in the air, but side by side there have enough Differences to own a few of them. I personally like Neroli Amara the most, because of the fresh Citrus Opening.

Haven’t tried Byredo’s De Los Santos yet but to me, Unnamed is basically Byredo’s Gypsy Water with the vanilla toned down then replaced with violet and oakmoss. They have similar primary notes, as well.

Prefer Valaya hands down!!!

Ordered perles de lalique because of fragrantica comparing it to MNP by dior .. and wo0ow this DOES remind me of that sooo much .. I LOOOOVE the chypre notes in this & it does have a calming uplifting effect on me ❤❤❤

Interesting, Trussardi my name is one of my all time favourites. It is very similar to Santa Maria Novella L’Iris both of which I have. I tried Comete the other day and really like it but it is definitely more of a cousin rather than a sister to My Name or L’Iris.

I received a sample a while back, now I’m curious to check it out!

I have several Zernell Gille fragrances, 3 travel sizes and House is a full bottle. They are all pleasant.

Have you ever tried the original Ralph Lauren Romance perfume ? It's one of my favorite perfumes and to me it has a very clean slightly soapy smell. If you happen to know of a perfume with a similar smell to Romance please let me know. Thanks for the great video as I really love the clean fresh scents especially for the summer.

I've never smelled the original Prada candy or any of their others but I may someday .

Oh I remember my mother having the Rose Milk lotion in the 70s !! I've been wanting to try the Mont Blanc for quite a while. I know what you mean about the petroleum smell, I think it's just the combination of the peppercorn and ambroxin dry down

Just bought it too blindly and I hope it's a good fragnance and kinda keeps the standart long because I already have Lush Vetiver from Zara so I hope this one is nothing like similar to that one too :)

Hi Sandy, thanks for the video! I really like creamy perfumes as well, especially with sandalwood or lactonic notes. De Los Santos is beautiful! Another one by Byredo which also is kind of creamy but in a different way, fruity and alcoholic, is Eleventh Hour - have you tried that one?

I can sense just watching this video that you and your mom and dad are true genuine people. Very loving family. I wish there were more people like this in the world. This is one of my favorite scents that doesn’t break the bank. I first smelled this when I bought a gift pack of fragrances at Walmart over 15 years ago around Christmas time. It was a 5 or 6 piece gift set that had small sample bottles. This was one of the scents in that gift pack. About 6 years ago I found a 4 ounce bottle for less than $20 at TJ Max. I still have a third of the bottle and started using again. The reason I still have the bottle is I have too many different scents that I rotate. I am sure when this runs out I will grab another bottle off of the Walmart website since they sell it. You did a fantastic job describing the scent. I would say you nailed it. I get about 8-10 hours with this fragrance. My 12 year old daughter said this is what my car smells like and said my office radiates with the smell since I started using this again. I highly recommend this to any man that wants to stand out of the crowd smelling great.

You might like Courreges' Hyper Musc, it's definitely less gourmand than On A Cloud!

Hi Sandi, I love a creamy texture to perfumes too. I bought a bottle of Narciso Poudree back in 2020 when I was first getting into perfumery on this hobby “Collection” level and at the time I ended up returning it. I don’t remember now what it smelled like, but I think my nose just didn’t “get it” and couldn’t sort out what I was smelling. I’ve been wanting to revisit it because on paper I should love It and I think my nose has gotten a little more discerning than it was. It’s been discontinued for a while and I keep expecting the price to start increasing. Have you ever tried the NR Rouge? It’s another one in that line that I’ve been wanting to experience. A few fragrances in my collection that have a noteworthy creaminess are Bo by Liis - a beautiful creamy woody scent and Parisian Musc by Matiere Premiere, another creamy cedar, lactonic musk scent with a hit of fig. There is an elegance to how the perfumers have done the woods and musk in both of these fragrances that I really love, but I think it’s the creaminess that elevates them and why I find them so chic.
