Less fatal, but equally annoying: Highlight the mirror, tp back, don't bother to swap the highlight, go back to the furnace and melt the ingots, confirm, tp again.

Never had this issue, I keep my magic mirror in the very most bottom right space in the inventory and just open my inventory and use it straight from there, it’s way better

One of the few reasons terria on moblie is any good (i play on moblie snd this never happens cuz you have to manually press that inventory slot)

Once I tried beating the wall of FRESH with a friend, problem is I had the magic mirror right next to my healing potions... So when we had to fight, we were fully prepared and had a bunch of buffs ready... Then, mid battle, i accidentally used it and my friend who is new to the game got stuck and had to die while I was speedrunning my way back to at least try help save him. Most epic and emotional gaming moment ever lol.

That's why I: 1) Only use the keyboard shortcut and not the scroll wheel. 1.5) When I do have to use the scroll wheel for precision movement like selecting in my hotbar, I have 2 button on my mouse just under the scroll wheel that are bound to scroll up & down exactly ONCE. Very very very useful. 2) The mirror is in my inventory being used only when I actually grab it and use it... Although with my playtime on Terraria, it still happened at least once that I used it accidently.

This is why I trashed my magic mirror and stacked myself with Recall Potions. Atleast it teleports faster after I open my inventory to press it.
