STOP Saving | 2022 Recession is HERE
This is my first time
why do you zoom out and zoom in repeatedly l
My ESPP is caped at 6500 or 25% in 6month , should i hold ? Or sell right away , my company AMAT has gone up like crazy lately , look back was 70$ sold for 150$ and keeps going up
This decision varies based on how you would like your wealth diversified. The greater percentage of your wealth that you hold in relation to the place that also employs you, the greater the risk. You don't want to be the person that has 100% of their wealth in their employer, a bad crash happens, and you also lose your job from that same company. Diversify according to what helps you sleep at night :)
Really good and practical options!
Thank you Tarik!
Hi jeremiah, I am from India working in Microsoft. I have currently applied for ESPP 15%(Fidelity). Plz let me know if this is a good time to continue with this plan as a foreigner as it seems stocks will go more low due to recession. So it seems it will be profitable for longer term and I am thinking to go for an approach of keeping these stocks for a longer timeline rather then selling every quarter. Is it okay?
Definitely still participate! From your post it seems that you will opt in. From my experience, if you sell within a few days of purchase date, it usually doesn’t make a huge difference, unless the stock dropped drastically before the shares were transferred into your account. Not financial advice, but if you hold long, make sure you are at least holding long enough for a ‘qualified disposition’. Also, with this market, be ready to hold for 2+ years unless you are just waiting for the next ~$10 swing up in MSFT share value. Hope this helps!
@@JeremiahTate yes by long term I was actually thinking about atleast 5years. Actually m new to investing especially to American market. But with Microsoft brand, I feel even after years it should be profitable only.
Can we get a update on the student loan forgiveness? Thanks!
Thanks bro
Love how you don't waste time getting to the topic of the video! Keep it up. Also...always nice to learn that I'll be paying less taxes :)
I’m happy I took an income tax course with H&R BLOCK making it easy for me to understand what you are saying
It’s a shame that these things aren’t taught to us in school! Stuff is so important
@@JeremiahTate agreed. I appreciate the content And time you put in to show the people out here that are curious.
Nice! Application is very simple. Thanks for the vid man
Happy to help. 😊
Hopefully everything goes well! Should be getting some notice from the White House soon
The official White House twitter handle has been buzzing with posts about forgiveness. I have been keeping watch on it all for you guys!
The decision between a Roth IRA and a traditional IRA is your tax rate now versus your tax rate and retirement. Compounding has nothing to do with it.
Absolutely! And is a great reason why young investors benefit greatly from a Roth IRA. They have many years of income earning potential ahead and are most likely to be in the lowest tax rate now than later in their lives
@@JeremiahTate very possible but that would depend on when they have kids. It would also depend on if they actually save any meaningful amount for retirement. Many people talk of starting but if you look at the median retirement Savings in the US that's far from the given that they'll keep doing it. Life seems to happen to a lot of people. It's just a fact most people pay less taxes in retirement and everyone was young at one time.
Are you assuming that you take all the traditional IRA out at the same day? Because that's the only way you'll pay that kind of tax. And then even that what you said is very high for that situation. A safe withdrawal rate is about 4% historically. 4% of a million dollars is $40,000. If you're only income was the IRA $40,000 will create less than 10% tax. Now the question you have to ask yourself are you paying less than 10% tax to get it in a Roth IRA. You choose an IRA by your tax bracket now versus your tax bracket later
The assumption in this video is that the viewer is interested in having more wealth than just this Roth IRA at retirement (which I hope they want to!). Another key thing to note is that you are required to take withdrawals from your trad IRAs in retirement. So if that person has a 401k, then that will begin to be taxed as well, counting as income. On top of that and income from other assets as well. Anyone taking the advice of a Roth IRA will likely be interested in other ways to generate wealth. Thanks for the comment! Definitely agree on the 4% withdrawal rate
@@JeremiahTate you should probably make that clear because it looks like you're saying that much tax would be from withdrawals from the IRA. Withdrawals from an IRA of a million dollars are very low with no other income assuming you take a safe draw rate.
I've had my Roth IRA for years. Any ways to save money from taxes are well worth looking into. Great vid for anyone who NEEDS to open one.
I agree! This is a NEED for most people in all parts of the country. Take advantage until you make too much money!!!
Read the fine print. They can take ALL your money.
How so?
Really?
Is it not obvious how cool I think that Roth IRA is? 😆 Anyone have experience choosing not to go Roth?
It's like winning and making your buddy pay for it.
Can I receive the loan forgiveness if I paid off my student loans during the pause
If you made payments on or after March 13 of 2020, when the pandemic officially began, then you are eligible to ask to have those payments refunded to you. As long as you meet the other requirements as well. - They wanted to give those that were still able to pay their loans some benefit but unfortunately it’s equal to what you paid during the pandemic before paying in full. Hope this helps!
So , if your loans are before january 2022 you do you still qualify for the 10k or 20k ?
That’s correct! The cutoff is June 30, 2022. As long as your loan is older than that date, and you meet the other qualifications, you are in the clear!
What are your thoughts on the student loan relief?
Great video! Signing up for the reminder now, thank you :)
Great to hear!

Reading about people grabbing multi-figures monthly as incomes in investments even in this crazy days in the market, any pointers on how to make substantial progress in earning? I would appreciate
I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don’t know who agrees with me but either way I recommend either real estate or crypto and stocks.
I really don't trade, I only invest with a professional assigned by a crypto company that trades for people and returns profits on weekly basis for me and you can invest your capital and get weekly Returns of investment (ROI) without any extra fees attached.
The professional is Ms Gloria Eller 🔥
@@migueldiaz3917 Really you know her😳... I even thought I'm the only one she had helped walk through the fears and fall of forex trading
Last month a friend refered me to her, I started Investment with 5,400€ and now I've made 15,340€. I think she deserves a credit.
These past few days of ECONOMIC INSTABILITY, INFLATION and RECESSION watching my crypto portfolio decline is very disheartening. Holding doesn't really profit much. Any idea on how to earn better on the short run?
•Short term trading is much preferable considering the current market fluctuations.
A very good technical analysis and understanding of price action in the market makes trading easier and less confusing. As a beginner, I strongly recommend a professional for your analysis, she is Ms Milly Millz
@@carolward6205 *Crypto trading* is quite profitable I'll always pick Short term trading over Holding cause I have made a lot of profit from trading different profitable coin.. it is also surprising as I also trade with Ms Milly Millz on a short term basis.....I advice you seek the help of an expert to avoid the trauma of too much losses
>>She is also my personal trader, crypto analyst and account manager. With an initial invested capital of $5000 ,it yielded returns of over $15000 within two weeks of trading. I was really impressed by the profit actualised
How do I reach her?
