My understanding is PCMs only started to get locked in 2020… I assume yours should be unlocked already, allowing it to be tuned.

@ it’s a resonated catless downpipe so it will be loud but not really raspy like that. I want to up my boost, on the catted downpipes when I was on 30lbs of boost my torque shot up to 725 lbs. so if I go catless I can keep torque close to 690 on line 31-32lbs of boost and my 720-730 hp with a smoother transition of power

I got it done by a shop in Spanaway Washington. Yeah they gave me the idea so I could keep my trunk space. Shop is called Tailored Garage.

I ran a spacer so I never threw a cel

I’m tuned so it won’t throw a cell. But before I was tuned I installed big daddy spacers n it didn’t throw a cell.

Haha, with this setup up you can slide it. It still has stock strut so it rides pretty much the same. Now if you pop a tire or something crazy while doing maneuvering like that and it could cause a leak. But for the most part you will be good

@@dancrea9407 no fitment issues at all. I would look at getting isweep 1500 better, they produce little to no brake dust. Performance is stock like. The isweep 2000 produce a bit more dust but have a strong brake feel and performance.

@@lewisarts411 you could, but once you remove the pcm it will code itself as it has been removed. Also only the PCM that is in the car will have actuate data on it like mileage and vehicle history. There is no way around it, they could detect you remove the PCM and did something to it if they really wanted to look

@ i cant sadly. The baffle inside. Plastic and round with holes in it. It attaches to the top of the can. as i took out the can itself the baffle had been dislodged

@unitesupportking3439 it’s not crazy important, it will just help if you got like shavings or something random that got in there. As long as u are still catching the access fluid and not have any leaks ur good

@@d0ughmn982 hey brother, I actually don’t have the car anymore. I had the kit for like 16 months and it was great. No issues at all, I took the kit off and sold it before I sold the car.

@@sterlingg111 well the cold start it’s very loud on 100% open. On 50% it’s a little less than normal but still loud. I’m tuned now so thank god I don’t have to listen to that loud cold start sound lol 😂

@ is the 50% more similar to the stock raspy sound or the 100% open deep sound?

@sterlingg111 i never really drove it around at 50%. At 100% its loud when you get on it, if your are driving around like normal then it just sounds deeper than stock. I am on a resonated midpipe so there really is no drone.

@@DavidinHD1 for me it’s mostly about the cold start. I have the mad resonated mp rn with dahler valve controller, but open at 100% it’s almost too loud. So I was debating getting the sst so I can set the cold start to open at 50%. I just don’t want it to sound shitty like stock does. Was hoping 50% sound more like when it’s 100% open, but with just a bit less intensity and volume

@sterlingg111 I don’t think it’s worth it getting a new valve controller just for cold starts. It’s not going to be much lower than stock, unless you close it all the way. Do you have the ability to close it with the Dalher one?

I already have my DME unlocked on BM3. I was thinking of getting xhp trans tune… I have the CS trans flash currently. Waiting to get my flex fuel kit in the mail.. so I can get a flex custom tune. Does XHP help out a lot?

@DavidinHD1 xhp does actually help out a lot. I'd recommend stage 2 xhp for daily driving.

No rasp, no drone either. I am running the MAD resonated single mid pipe, and catted downpipe, so it’s just a deeper tone and just loud with no rasp when WOT

No spacers… I didn’t get any code before I was tuned, now I am tuned so I would have any code regardless. But I had the downpipes on for about 1500 miles before I was tuned.. n no issues.
