After watching your video, I’m saddened by your plight and others in your profession. I live in the U.S and it is so discouraging to know that a nurse aid in the U.S makes more money than a Nigerian doctor. Nurse aids make an average of about $18-20 per hour. It also sad that some doctors in Nigeria make less than what I send to my mother in Nigeria monthly. I send her 250k a month. I cant imagine sending my daughters to school all those years and only for them to make such pittance. Please if you have an opportunity to JAPA, do it quickly and without any remorse. There are no doctors in the U.S making less than $200k a year. Your profession and skillset are highly compensated around the world. Do you have a place where your viewers can make donations?

Here is my advice: Take and pass a requalifing exam in USA and you will be earning about $200,000 annually. You're wasting your time in Nigeria. Medicine is more difficult in the USA but it's worth the effort. So, my sister come to the states and be the best you can be.

Doctors are still respected. At least, you work in your field. Engineers case is the worst. No internship, only #33,000 during service. Nigeria is a joke. My mother worked for 37 years, and her salary did not get to #200, 000.

If Nigeria can’t even afford to pay the few doctors they have left a decent salary, how does the government plan to pay the new doctors which they want prevent from Japa-ing. How can they even afford that? Personally I’d love to stay but I want to live well and I want my children to enjoy the fruits of my hardwork. Nigeria already took that from me but trust me nobody will enjoy more than my children

I’m at the same age group as you. Wishing you all the best on your journey to medicine. Do not let age stop you. So many people apply way older than you and go through the process. Use your age and experience to your advantage by staying focused and making plans early on the pathway of medicine you want to go into whether in Nigeria or not so you plan ahead and go in without any gaps. Wishing you all the best. ❤️
