When are you coming to the Olympic Peninsula? See the beauty from snow-capped, glacier-carved mountains to the jigsaw puzzle like shores of the pristine Pacific Ocean beaches. In between are alpine meadows, temperate rain forests, abundant waterfalls and plenty of outdoor excitement for the entire family. When are YOU visiting? Gorgeous
Thank you for the reminder, why we live here. This video captures most of the essence of the Peninsula. Thanks for sharing.
This would have been a spectacular video had you not used picture in picture. It ruins it for me.
This promotion is over several years ago. Notice 11/2016.

Cam D. So sorry but this promotion was over several years ago. Glad you like Daniel's voice. I'll pass that on to him when I see him next. He's a very nice guy. And, I will make a note on this link that the promotion is over. Forks is always open for visitors!
Maybe you can add a link to where we can ask a question please..I tried the Facebook tab and it is not working for me?? I can't see the tab..not on Firefox or Internet explorer :(

Chris McDevitt. Thanks for the "chamber of commerce" comment. A little (or a lot) of rain only adds to our mystique!
I though getting stationed at Fort Lewis was going to be a drag. Little did I know, I would fall in love with the Olympic Peninsula and WA in general. Even though I will be leaving WA next year to go home for college, I will always be on the lookout for the chance to go back to the Olympics. If you are considering going, DO IT! Even if there is a little rain, go anyway. One of the most amazing places in the country.
Our friend, John, did an amazing job. We can tell how much he loves this area!
Exquisite piece of video. Well done. Makes me feel like I'm there. =)
You defiantly should make more videos! Well done!!!
You bet! The Pacific Ocean has some good waves and surf. We kayak year round on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, finding some nice calm water depending on the wind and tides. Puget Sound and Hood Canal can often be flat and glassy. They also can whip up a white-capped surface. Depends on the weather, tides, current, wind. Always gorgeous!
@mrslovettstailor. The fall scene at about 1:16 is the Elwha River. This is the river that is having two dams removed this summer to help restore the legendary salmon runs.
