No seat belt mandate caused alot of people to loose their lives in roll-over accidents the roll bar was mean.

Thanks for the memories. I grew up in the sixties and remember camping and off roading as a family. My dad had a 1961 Ford F 100 4x4 with a pto winch and. Mitchell camper. I think that’s Black Bear pass and I recognize a couple of other places.

I bought a new 1974 cj5 when I came home from the Army. I think I had it on every jeep trail in Colorado. Those were great times.

Known plenty of people getting bounced out of those old cj's. I love the hype about dash illumination

Somebody should tell these people you can't do those trails unless you have 40 inch tires and at least a 6 inch lift.

Are others allowed to wheel or are you guys like all the other jeep clubs and think nobody else's can wheel unless they have a mall crawler jeep?

Heck yeah! Let’s run it! So many great trails to do in Colorado and this is the best way to enjoy them with great scouts and trail leaders along the way. No one gets left behind. I have such a great time with them

This is the most fun I've ever had. If you're looking for a challenge, or a calm drive through the woods, this event is for everyone. I highly encourage anyone with a 4x4 who wants to camp for a week in the company of some amazing people and hit a few trails, to give this a look. I'll see you again this year, MHJC!!!
