I’ve been using a screen-less drawing tablet for years now and have enjoyed it ever since. I received a Huion inspiroy from my friend who got an new iPad for himself. I have very little back pain, my hand doesn’t get in the way, and I save money on new products. Personally the only draw back in my mind is the inability to take it everywhere. In that area a iPad or smart tablet is the winner.

Very nice review :) ...Personally I use a Wacom Intuos PRO Large paper edition...Ok, forget the paper edition because unfortunately the driver are not stable but the Tablet is great. I have been thinking a lot to upgrade to a Huion Kamvas 24 Pro 4k but honestly I start feeling that you cannot trust the majority of the UA-cam reviews because they are not really honest...The buyer tend to project his growth assuming that the device will fill the gap to become a PRO but the reality is that a simple drawing tablet used by a real PRO artist will make a great work... Nevertheless the Display tablet are really cool object but as you said sometimes are uneasy to use if your neck and your back are not happy with the posture you have to assume...In addition when you draw with the tablet your hand never hide the drawing....and a less complicated device face less problems in a long run and it is portable...😊

The 22" Huion screen tablet I bought, is sitting uselessly in a corner in my room. And since I live in a more rural place, I have problem with reselling that. Now I have to save up money again so I can buy a very big screen-less tablet which seems to be the best option when it comes to tablet choice. The things you mentioned in this video are correct but I also had wrist pain.

Wait I have a question. If I program one to the eraser would i be able to hold it down or would I have to actually press it. On the bluetooth keyboard I have right now I can have a tool selected, for example the pen and when I hold down E for eraser it can temporarily change until I let go of E, can it also work on this?

i think the problem with the pen is the brush settings in photoshop, i have the huion H610 Pro v2( is one of the most budget tablet of the brand) and i dont have that issues that u have, and your HUION is more expensive.

I just borrowed a cintiq pro 16 and after about an hour I was feeling discomfort in my back and neck. I’m shocked I haven’t heard other UA-camrs talk more about this.

great video!! love how you explained everything : D ive been using an ipad to draw since 2018 (started with the 6th gen one now i use the 12.9in ipad pro) and from 2018-2019 i'd draw semi-regularly and i didn't experience that much pain unless i drew like a ton. then i got a huion kamvas 13 in 2020 and became a full time illustrator and 2 years later i have very intense pain in my hand, arm, shoulders and back. I've been to countless doctors and therapists and so far it isn't getting any better. I've been drawing almost every day since 2020 (i love drawing too much to stop tho i do rest when i can!) and yeah lately i've been turning the display of my drawing tablet off and using it as a normal graphics tablet. it's much better for me and I'm actually ordering a new graphics tablet now! i recommend instead of investing in getting a display tablet its better to invest in having 2 monitors instead of one. you can look at any refs and info youll need on one screen and you can see your drawing on another

Wow just came across your channel, great video! Love your personality and hope you make more videos. I’ve been using an iPad Pro for years, and recently a huion display tablet, and the various pains (back primarily) are becoming too much to deal with. I just ordered a huion hs610 pen tablet. It received fantastic reviews. I’m hoping I can adjust to drawing on it. I just feel so much better when I’m sitting upright working on other tasks on my pc. I’d love to have that same experience while drawing. Fingers crossed!

are these issues still a thing in huion hs611? coming from a Wacom Intuos Small, sometimes i draw with very light strokes (so the "neutral mode" you mentioned for these Huion tablets i guess) and having the possibility to do that whenever i feel to, even if is not a thing i need that often in my case, is obviously a good thing. so i'm wondering if those are some issues just for this particular model (which i was taking in consideration) or for others Huion tablets too (hs611 in particular, the other one i'm taking in consideration)

since youre not satisfied with the tablet you got i recommend you checking out XP Pen Deco Pro, i just got that tablet and i love it. having 2 dials and switchable functions for them is so convenient!

If you have a screen tablet. Dont give up on it just yet. You can use your screen tablet as a screenless tablet. What you do is you lay your screen tablet flat. Go to your screen tablet's software and set your second monitor as your drawing monitor. Bring your drawing software to your second monitor and voila

Honestly... I just randomly watched your video on huion q620m and I just mistakingly touched this video and I didn't understand the title and that got my interest Thank you, you literally defined me and my life for the past 4 years. I really needed to heard this cause Its become a habit of constantly gathering information and not actually practicing. I had a breakdown in 2021 when I felt absolutely useless cause I know alot but haven't done alot and I came up with a solution atleast it worked for me. THE SOLUTION:It's just to look at ONE reference for any specific thing that I want to create. Example: I watch only one tutorial series and learn that to a reasonable intermediate level. if I wanted to create an eye in blender, all I do is search on UA-cam and after viewing the first tutorial I set my eyes on, i'm done. I practice with that until I'm perfect at it. But before what I did was download a bunch of how to make a realistic eye in blender and never actually create one but I'd just know how to create them in several ways. Overall this was a really great video. I'm really happy to hear this.

I'm Looking up tablets for note taking. Very informative video, thanks for the bit at the end about pressure sensitivity, good to know +1000 is like +30 sunscreen or like you said 100MP isn't necessarily much better than 50MP. I was worried I was really giving up on accuracy if I went with the small cheap tablet. I can't draw to save my life anyway but I'm glad to see sensitivity and accuracy isn't an issue for the HS64

I was concerned on buying this cause the buttons and dial was on the left and I’m left handed but when i saw how you had yours “upside down” and holding the pen with your left hand it was an automatic like. 😂

good lord, showing your self confidence out of the gate, and following it up with really ear piercing beeps is not a professional move. But your advice is good.

You should get a keypad and map the keys to the program you are using. It made my work flow so much easier + faster
