I have an eboard battery pack where the conductive plating broke a few chubks off, any clue how i could revive that? Is it safe to do? I know for a fact its a perfectly fine working battery pack/ the cells are in good condition. Just some of the plating connecting them is missing parts. (So no connection)

Quick question, I have a Ownboard Carbon AT on stock 10s. I've swapped out remote and esc, that can take up to 20s. I was thinking about 2x 12,000mah or 12ah 6s lipos, only 10c. How would the range n power be like? Compared to the 18650 10s 14ah 508WH Obviously if I had 4x for double the range. 2x 12ah in parallel, for 24ah, times two and connected in series to get 12s. Great videos bro, I'm an Aussie 53yo been eskating 8x months. But rc cars n rc fov quadcopters are my favs, so I have more experience with lipos than li-ons.

All speculation L take 😬 I have over 2000km on my 120 clouds going up to 55kmh and they have no issues at all, if something is going to send big shocks through your spokes at high speed it's probably going to hurt the rider way worse than the wheel.

Hello, great video, is it okay to put a 10s in series with a 2s to get 12s. Just for testing purposes, tossing up between a 10s7p or a 12s7p DIY build. If 10s+2s series is good, then I can still use my stock 10s battery instead of taking it out and using big 12s7p topmounted battery only.

Hello, quick question, I have a 10s Ownboard Carbon AT and want to try 12s, I've swapped ESC and remote for VX4 n FT85BD non vesc,4-20s range. I want to try 12s by adding a 2s in series in conjunction with stock 10s battery. Is it okay???, safe etc,??? and how will regenerative braking system work, will it just change each battery okay, like no expected heat or explosions. As I was given a 16s7p battery and in the middle of sorting out good cells from the cookers or bad cells. Will check capacities etc for all cells. Just that I have 2s from that pack that are still spot welded and seem to be holding charge very well. And no cookers. It's taking ages to discharge that 2s at 1.2A on hobby grade charger. The actual charger limits it to 1.2A, even when max 2A is selected on the menu etc. Wanted to try 12s, then decide 10s or 12s for a battery DIY build. Did start out as building a bigger 10s for range only. Then thought about 12s, and 2s+10s series trick. More premium power!!!! Haha Original plan was to build a battery same spec as stock Ownboard battery and put in parallel for more range. Cheers again, great videos, and well explained too.

Hello, good channel you have, have subbed ya😊 I have a old Ownboard Carbon AT which is only 10s, seen someone convert to 12s. I've kept motors but swapped ESC for flipsky FT85BD so could run 12s. In theory, could I series in another two cells, to match, a 2s4p. In series to bump it up to 12s? (With both batteries fully charged) same state. And savour the premium power!!! Or the other option was to parallel another 10s4p to get double range. As there's a 40km long local weekly ride I could join here in Perth Australia. With no range anxiety. Again both batteries fully charged. Would like to have the option of doing both. I have xt90 waterproof connectors that I was going to use one on board lid, and one into a diy battery box on top, between the feet style. Small pelican waterproof box strapped down. I'm 53yo and fairly happy with the 10s speed, I rarely do full throttle or 40km. Would still be nice to try her on 12s🔥💯💯 to try 12s What say you?

If i got the isinwheel v10 and I notice around 20mph it starts to wobble even with a lean on front and tight truck I’m totally new to boarding but decent enough to cruise, but I don’t think I can do anything about the dkp and I keep hearing they are naturally more wobbly and I don’t need to carve yet so this video will help I hope watching it now hoping I can just buy a single truck for it? The back truck is a belt connected so I think I can only convert the front idk if that okay to do

Hey i have an issue with my electric skateboard. it only works when the charger is plugged in and when i unplug the charger and pressing on the start button on the skateboard it won't light up. why is that? how to fix that?

That's going to catch on fire. Maybe not right away, but eventually. Lithium ion degrades below the minimum spec set by manufacturer. even more so at 0v. Should never be considered below 0v, maybe below min set by manufacturer if and only if it's only been below for a few days. Looking at the messy balance wires tells all though.

I have a smaller boarder that uses a 29.4 volt charger and it isn't charging likely because it's way below zero, I get some blinking and beeping when I push the power button but that's it! What voltage do you recommend I try to see if I can being her back to life?

also you mentioned harder to get bearings in/out of the metal rims but you know by now you can use trucks to help. R metal rims better for eliminating any kind of rattle/play/vibrations? Thats why harder to fit bearings maybe?

These are badass! Def ordering a set! Wonderful job on these. With your tremendous experience what do you recommend as far as all terrain / off road tires for 8" tires (200x50) that can be stretched wider tire patch? What are the best bang for buck in wide rims to give wider tire patch besides etoxx rims as they are too expensive and takes too long to order to the states. The mbs rockstar pro 2 alum xl's are 60mm wide but I think that's only for 9" tires? I mean can I put 8" tires in the 60mm groove spots to achieve wider 8" tire tire patch?

For the pulley does it need a spacer between the two bearings like the wheels?

If you’re over 150lbs, go with 63 series motors. 50 series might last a year, two at best, but you’ll have slow acceleration and they’ll burn up eventually.

Recently got my first board. Died after 4 minutes. Tried returning but company went bankrupt. Tried this trick with some old chargers I found but no dice. This hobby sucks lol! Guess I will have to get custom battery from somewhere....
