Congratulations Max and #DrE for starting your own busines with those great designs wheels. 😀👍💚💚💚
Nice. What is the total weight per wheel, and the weight of TPU part?
//EDIT: oh, saw the number in the slicer, so around 370g per tyre ~ 2 spools per set.
wow 👏🏼
This is epic!
amazing, will there be one for direct drive motors? I want a cheaper cloudwheel rovers
You are eating up the bike trails my dude 😎
awesome
These are badass! Def ordering a set! Wonderful job on these. With your tremendous experience what do you recommend as far as all terrain / off road tires for 8" tires (200x50) that can be stretched wider tire patch? What are the best bang for buck in wide rims to give wider tire patch besides etoxx rims as they are too expensive and takes too long to order to the states. The mbs rockstar pro 2 alum xl's are 60mm wide but I think that's only for 9" tires? I mean can I put 8" tires in the 60mm groove spots to achieve wider 8" tire tire patch?
I want a set but I have hub motors can you make me some for a meepo 48v board???
Would these work on a hub motor?
Would any of your wheels be compatible with the boosted mini X?
I hate to ask but is it possible for the wheel to just break because it is 3d printed rather than moulded as 1 solid piece
The TPU material is elastic, unlike harder materials it bonds permanently pretty much so it can't just break away. The only way I found to break it was to take a saw and saw through, even that was very tough too do. Very similar to rubber, once its melted it bonds.
Needs some get bak to me
😁😁😁👍👊👊
do a burnout for 20 mins. hold esk8 along wall...see how the tyre performs.
:)
I don't really see a point to that test but it can handle burnouts pretty good, doesn't get smoky like rubber and has much higher melting point. I will post a test soon for funs. ;)
Disruptive technology!
I liked the last part of you just riding with no music. Colored transparent material that lets the light through would be supercool.
