      I actually ended up making the bases a lot bigger. I’ve never seen people set these up outside so sand bags wouldn’t really be needed inside.

    Looks really good. One thing I would change is the color of the carpet. I would have used a few different colors, just to give it some contrast and make it a little more interesting to look at.

      99% of the events I rent for are inside so I have never built anything for using them outside

    Ive built a bunch of these letters and Im getting quite a bit of tear out when I make my miter cuts. Any advice on how to combat that?

      Are you using birch from big box stores? If so, that’s why, stuff is garbage for cutting these sides. If you’re using sanded plywood like I am, try changing your blade and cutting slower. I get tear out every once in awhile but nothing like with the birch.

      No problem getting them back so far and I’ve made hundreds of rentals. Not something anyone really wants to keep.

    Great video!!. As far as the saw bogging down with hardwood. I have a 10 year old Ryobi job site saw with an out feed table. I had big box store blades for years. Now I use CMT blades on my table saw and miter saw. With CMT I have no issues with hardwood up to 1 1/2" thick. No bogging or burning. I used to think blades are blades, they are all the same. Not true!!!. Good woodworking me friend.

      Just regular behr paint from Home Depot. Ultra white satin. Screws are deck or construction screws 1 1/4” long

      ⁠@@yellowhammerwoodcrafts specifically what kind of finish this Ultra White Satin paint? Is it “paint and primer” exterior paint or “enamel paint”? Also did you have to have to sand everything prior to painting?

      @@allanvilla1870​​⁠it’s Behr Ultra White with the red label from Home Depot. Glossy. If you use sanded plywood, not much sanding is required. I usually go over it with 220

      Most rentals are indoors and they have no problem standing on flat surfaces
