Currently working a similar situation on my 05.
Je vois une F 6 pas un van car un van et un véhicule que transporter des cheveux 😢😢😢😂😂😂
Mine did all this, turned out to he a Faulty ABS module
Appreciate this. My 2005 is doing the same damned thing. Can’t get it out of park without the release underneath. Leaning toward the TCM on mine, but ABS is possible too
I got a nissan micra k12 and it gives me the p0420 bank 1 engine code. I went to do the MOT and it failed the emisions test. Does this mean the sensor is faulty?
I have Nissan Micra 1.2 2012 k13, I got codes P0138 and P0139 and P0137 they indicated O2 sensor 1 and 2 ? What do you suggest me to do , replace them or replace fuses ! thanks for the video it is very helpful.
Check the signal wire on sensor 1 with a meter and you will see very high voltage , from the rear 02 heater
best look at a wiring diagram and it will be clear what is happening here
Hi I did a leak off test but fuel came up the return pipe. Should this happen? Should it be blocked off to do the test?
Hello. I have the same symptoms now. What does that have to do with the instrument cluster?
Is low battery level or doesn't hold the charge anymore . I have something similar and just changed battery now
Ours was an instrument cluster fault
Bloody hell that was absolutely shot!
My s type r sc have a problem like you. And if i push the accell then not move . only going 5km/h is it the ecu problem ?? Help
if you busted any of the sensor plugs to the motor solder them
Hay mate got exactly the same issue! Please tell me you found the issue!! Please reply and shine a little light on the issue
It was the cluster, we sent it away for repair
What value resistor? and what is that valve called<»
Exedy clutch did the noise at idle even if we replaced brand new exedy 2 times (3x pieces). If i press clutch, the sound goes.
Its a proven fact that only less intelligent people purchases Renault. Worst cars in history!
Absolutely, but they were intelligent *before* getting that renault
if the oil was changed every 5.000 miles and kept topped up inbetween oil changes this would never happen......
my car is doing the same thing
How to remove Release bearing on transmition?
Hi thx for the vid. did you manage to fix it? a lot of us here need to know!
Could you please show the location of the sensors please would be awesome
O2 sensor that was causing the error was immediately behind the catalyst
@@swiftmotorservices replacing it with new one fixed the problem?
I had a 2005, it gave me those same problems, the solution was to sell it for $ 600 dollars. Do not feel bad about what I'm going to tell you, if possible, get out of that vehicle as soon as possible before you finish all your savings as I happened to me.
Eduardo cruz dude I literally been pouring money in this car since I bought it 2005 you said ?
I had exactly the same problem. This problem is mostly caused by cheap Obd2. Unplug the two battery cables completely from your battery. Short circuit them for 20 seconds and wait 10 minutes and now plug them back correctly. Make sure you respect the polarity. Now start your car,all fault should disappear. And everything should work fine. Good luck.
What’s obd2 and also what do you mean short circuit?
Do short circuit the battery fix the fault
Dodgy bodge.
Montage des façades
you sound like a twat
Where is it located? Loved you did this But you dont get to see it at all
? eh
Mega filmik 😀👍 Zapraszamy do nas na filmiki
@Glen Strachan, can a new bearing rattle at idle in neutral? i changed my clutch kit, all parts new, and i got a rattle noise at idle, with clutch pedal not pressed. Before changing clutch kit this sound was not present, so I think all goes down to new kit, not the gearbox. What your opinion?
Comby Natrix we had to change the clutch fork as well to fix the rattle
So... when in this video do you show it charging the battery? I don’t get it.
Where is the turbo located please is it at back and bottom of air intake
Most Transit TDCI engines sound like they knock its a terrible engine. The old TDDI is much better.
Michael Langley what other brand of van would you recommend as I thought the transit was the one . Thank you
The Transit is the one but go for the older ones with the TDDI engine in it as it's bulletproof. The other brand of van id recommend is a Peugeot Boxer
You replaced just the cams and the cam carrier?
Is this a common fault? Thx in advance.
Hey, I've got exact problem in my Jag. Did you found the cause, is it already fixed?
IIISpecnazIII I have gearbox fault also
T.I.T.B Mine is at the workshop right now, will let you know what was wrong.
IIISpecnazIII thank you
T.I.T.B - solution in my case - replacement of gearbox wiring loom.
how expensive was was this repair? I have been having the same issue for about 1mth...and my repair guy keeps clearing code but it reappears. I just want to clear up this for good...can you go in depth more what was repaired or where the wiring loom is so I can have my shop do the same for me.
So what was the fault I don't get more then 300 revs Driving me barmy Changed most sensors and a injecter No faults found on dashboard Even changed accelerate sensor Still no joy Going to change turbo pipe as it's cracked Hoping after all the money been spent This may have been the cause from day one As its allowing air intake I'm bloody fed up with this all Renault traffic 2008
Try blue plug in fuse box under the expansion bottle in the engine bay mite be corroded up
@@meagain2766 - Yep! That's a good suspect. Contact cleaning spray, followed by a tiny squirt of WD40. Can keep things in good shape for a really long time. BTW Worth mention, tightening up the "tabs" on the plugs might solve a series of contact problems! Particularly important for those of love to wiggle (to death) the wires and plugs. ;-)
Lesson learned - Never buy Renault or other french poor engineered cars.
@@slavaslavia4085 - Almost touching the 300k, no issues! Trafic DCI. Already had a bunch of cars, several "French", "German", "Japanese" and "Korean"... Highlighted the nationalities, because nowadays they're all but "national"! Due to education, training and a part of my professional life dedicated to the industry, I work on all my cars. And know their internals pretty well. Quite honestly the "French" still have the best value for money, on buying. Not selling. That "poor engineered" is the typical comment based on hear say! But admittedly that kind of fame. Allow me plenty to choose from. LOL 😂
@@crpth1 I have owned a lot of brands and I do all my mechanical work myself and have done so for the past 30 years. All my cars have been treated to perfection. The Renault Espace IV which I own is by far the most unreliable piece of junk ever created. Constant breakdown, issues with sensors, issues with electronics, DFP, EGR, constantly changing ball-joints, suspension and now I am having problems with the ECU apparently. Also the electronic windows have malfunctioned with wire issues and breaks (a small piece of plastic that is sensitive to cold weather breaks and you have to replace the whole kit). Have you ever tried to change the headlight lamp/beam on an Espace? You will be amazed of the procedures you have to do just to change a freaking bulb. Now since I do all the work myself, imagine how much everything would have cost for an average Joe with zero mechanical skills - he could easily bought a new car for the amount. You would be amazed how much Renault charges for a cam belt replacement... For your information - "The French people-carrier was the worst car for breakdowns last year, with 17 per cent leaving motorists stranded. " That is almost 20%, every fifth.... There is a reason why Renault Espace was voted as the worst and most unreliable car.
Hi Im wondering if you can help me I have a nissan x trail t31 2.0 dci which will go into limp mode I have a turbo boost sensor fault, changed sensor still same fault code occurs once it goes into limp mode it has a good ground and 5 volt and the signal is 1 v at idle and rises when revved. Could you be able to lead me into the right direction of finding the fault thanks
I have the exact same experience. Intermittent limp mode. Replaced the boost control valve. Worked
BATTERY CHARGED????? SO DUMMY
thank you so great info
Did you block off return line?
Oil pomp failure ?

Is this what rattles when the vehicle sits in Neutral?
my cam carry had snap to on my ford transit mk6 2.0 dautox DI 2005 at 170000 miles what caused it to do that ???
timing jumps a tooth crack the carrier
??????????????????????????????????????????????????
Correct
hey mate , so of that needle showed zero PSI when you gave it some throttle .. that would rule out a faulty catalyst converter / exhaust back pressure .. meaning you have a health breathing engine?
Hi Glen, My 2006 1.2 Micra is having hesitation when accelarating and juddering once the engine has warmed up. I took it to my local garage to investigate and they hooked it up to a diagnostics computer which was showing that the Lambda sensor wasn't quite right. I had the front Lambda replaced, new spark plugs and £170 later the problem still persists. Since I have had it hooked up to a diagnostics computer again and it is showing a Lambda fault again. Do you think it could be the rear sensor causing the problem? Any help you could give would be amazing, as I don't know what to do next! Thanks for posting the video too. Many thanks, Lucy
+Lucy Dickinson Hi Lucy, It is a little difficult to help without seeing your vehicle. There are two Lambda sensors ( or Oxygen sensors ) on your vehicle. These sensors test the amount of oxygen in the exhaust, before and after the catalytic converter.. Less fuel gives a smaller 'fire' and less oxygen consumed, so the sensor will report high oxygen content and the engine control unit is able to decide to add or subtract fuel to make it right. It does more than this, but for this purpose it is not worth getting too complex. As in the video, it is important to see that both sensors are working, as if the ecu sees one stuck 'high' it will alter the fuel to try and compensate as it cant understand that a sensor is stuck. The fact you are describing juddering, leads me to suspect a misfire - bear in mind if the fuel is not ignited, the oxygen is not burned and the O2 will report excess oxygen and give a fault code. Check for a split vacuum pipe and/or bad spark plugs Good luck ! Glen
If the rear sensor is stuck, it could cause the front sensor to stop switching as if the rear sensor reports lean, the ecu may richen tne mixture so the front will not switch. Disconnect the rear sensor to see if the front one starts to switch again
Glen Strachan. thank you Glen just saved money to one of our aa members. Saw your video and the data was showing the same values disconnected the rear sensor, front one started switching. Thank you from Aa patrol.
So in total fix do you have to replace the rear sensor or fix circuit from the rear to the ECU?
@@AnythingEverythingGh we just changed the rear sensor
Thanks for the reply My code is P0130 Hope this hack works so I can go ahead and replace the rear
