    My friend who lives in Morioka took me to your shop last year. I purchased a lovely Mosquito coil burner. This year I want to return and buy a teapot. Your products are very beautifully designed.

    I bought the Large Chief knife, pairing, and bread knife. The maintenance is the same as my Japanese. The Master Shin knives are every bit as good as my Japanese knives. Amazing edge retention.

    Thank you for sharing your story. I lived in Japan for 4 years before I started cooking with cast iron. It is wonderful to see the appreciation and care taken in making a simple and practical tool made beautiful.

    Idk if I’ll get a response but I’m curious about buying two packs. What are the most popular scents? What would you recommend? I was thinking yuzu but I’m not sure what’s a good second scent to pick up. I’m only throwing it here since I haven’t seen much discussion online for this product.

    Have 2 pairs. Very warm and comy to wear. However, i can not use them for more then a small small walk. Because they have no heel support your foot falls out very easily. This happens over time as the cushion wears down. At most these will last a season with daily use.

      Hi There, Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. I'm wondering if the sizing is off and that a smaller size would serve you better. Your heel should hit the back edge of the shoe, which holds your foot in place. Please let me know if you have further questions, we're here to help! Warmly, The Ameico Team

    I just brought 2 packs of Hibi incense (in the UK) it's great to see how they're made and the idea behind them. I'm really excited and looking forward to trying them even more now. Arigato gozaimasu. ありがとうございます。

    Out of curiosity - are the matches simply burning wood that has been dipped into a fragrant solution or are the matches made from something other than wood? such as Washi?

    • @tessoreilly2507
      @tessoreilly2507 2 роки тому

      Hi Sankofa, thank you for your question! Here is a bit of information on The Hibi Match Company and how they make their matches. "After years of trial and error, the Kobe Match Co, the creators of the Hibi Match, arrived at the perfect mixture of paper fibres, incense and charcoal to create the perfect strike-on-box incense match. The Harima region of Awaji island has been producing matches and incense for nearly one hundred and fifty years and the island accounts for nearly 70% of the match production in Japan. The westerly winds through Awaji island create the perfect temperature to dry incense; each of the fragrances derives from herbs grown by a local incense producer using traditional methods." Please don't hesitate if you have additional questions, Warmly, Tess

      @@tessoreilly2507 That's great info yes! I am so eager to learn that I have in fact already read that description on their website. But I am looking for specifics as to: HOW the mixture of paper fibres (Which fibres?), incense and charcoal is created? thanks for your quick reply!

    I've been looking for quality enamelware but in the US most of it is designed for camping and is very cheaply made. I'm glad someone is still making high quality enamelware.

    All blacksmiths use the same quenching technique , its called a differential heat treat , calling it a partial rapid cooling does not make it new or special . And as for a master at 17 nope, the apprenticeship of a European blacksmith 400 years ago was 15 years before he was aloud to forge unsupervised let alone call himself a smith a master smith at 17 ..... by who's standards ?

      With my knowledge, not every one has the title to be 무형문화재 in Korea, only for people ran the business through generations or had 무형문화재 sense, and he's one of the youngest people approved to be 무형문화재. In general, people get approved to be 무형문화재s at their late age. I believe he has a special background for the title. I personally think age isn't a good indicator for passed down skills. People have different motor skills and talent. And they start learning at different ages. I have three kids and they all have different talents and capabilities. Some are born to be a mathematic genius and some are meant to be an artist from the moment they are born.
