The flashback to young Red crying is my favorite scene in the whole show for some reason.

The way that people think Red talks to Eric the way he wished someone talked to him when he was Eric's age. Red never speaks highly of his own father in the series, and I think this is one of the few times Red was able to really display his compassion.

I remember watching this show as a young man I thought Eric was such a badass. Hot girlfriend, shaggy hair, cool car, a chill place to hang out and get high and drink beer, a good group of friends, and never ending snacks and munchies. Man... watching the same show 20+ years later now that I'm a dad... that shit hits me man. I was Eric but now I'm Red. I live for the day I'm able to have a beer and a man to man conversation with my son. He'll be 5 next year but he's already going on 30. I can't say I parent the same way Red does, but I'm just as proud and I'd give up just as much for my boy as Red does/would. I hope he turns out a million times better than I did.

I had one drink with my dad before he passed away. It's honestly one of my most cherished memories.

Red was always my favorite TV dad, in that he reminded me of my grandfather. Korean War veteran, GM aficionado, but as my sister once said of him, he had an exterior of an armadillo and the interior of a teddy bear. This is exactly what Arnold would have told me after a breakup.

I broke up with my ex Girlfriend on December 2022 and her ex Boyfriend before started talking to me i though to be my friend nope ! Actually was using my to be with my ex Girlfriend well my relief his nightmare i don't want her back after 4 tries yup i was a #Dumbass. Not anymore.

Red is a good dad, he really is. He just wants his kid to be stronger than him cuz he knows he can be, but that doesn’t mean he has to be the same. Red knew that, we knew that as the audience. This show was great.

Red is lying, you always think of the one you let slip away. Too bad I'm still friends. She lost her memory in an accident to before we got intimate. I've let her carry on with others despite my desire. Who knows, she might be lying

I definitely needed to hear this life lesson. I thought I found the greatest friend I’d ever have, and the perfect girl for me and she turned her back on me and hurt me in the worst possible way. I can’t wait til the day where I don’t think about her at all.
