There are two samples here. "Rocka" and "Fellers". Fatboy Slim plays Ro-Ro-Ro-Ro-Ro-Ro-Ro-Ro- Rocka Fellas but at the ends they're reversed so it's "Akcor" "Srellef". You can hear it more clearly when he plays it in isolation in the interview.

This method is useful for identifying full bar melodic elements/drum loops, but I'm not having any luck using this to find short kick/snare/hi-hat samples of my choice.

I wanted to test it with a famous song, so I put in not like us and the google loading thing at 0:40 is a really laggy sphere (I'll link to screenshots if you want) and always says unable to find a match. I'm not completely sure it's picking up the audio but I've configured all the output/input settings as shown in the video. I'm on windows 11

I wish I could be present in that basement in Paris when Daft Punk and Todd Edwards were making this song. Seeing them pick out songs from the sample crate, putting them on fruity chops and playing each sample until finding the perfect voice. Then blending the 22 samples someway to make Face to Face. It would be truly magical to see a masterpiece being crafted like that.
