So relieved with RATM being at #3 because I was getting worried neither of you were going to pick it. Gorillaz is a great shout in the honourable mentions as well. Showbiz by Muse would be in my list and Jeff Buckley’s only album Grace would be my number 1. Iron Maiden’s self titled debut would’ve been worth a shout. In terms of the last 10 years, I think Nothing But Thieves’ self titled debut is worth a shout as well.

Shame the channel isn’t get a lot of traction because I’ve found you guys recently and I’m loving hear your takes. Happy with the recognition for Franz Ferdinand. Not sure if Interpol could come under indie rock but if they do then turn on the bright lights needs to be on the list somewhere. Where the hell are Oasis and What’s The Story? They definitely come under indie rock imo.

there are also many yt short/tiktok memes with verbatim as a song and they are usually the "people who dont know(xqc happy or smth)" and then it transitions into this black and white version of like a guy(idk if its still xqc) looking upset, and it usually pairs wit a slowed continuation of verbatim. There are also memes about space that practically give free space facts so those are fun to watch as well!

I've listened to songs without doing anything many times! like, I would just sit in bed, put on mother mother songs(coincidentally) and just listen and zone out, occasionally i would check discord dms but most of the time nothing pops up so i just vibe

Steve Albini, the producer of Surfer Rosa passed away just last week. An absolute legend who has made many great albums, I’m sure you know Nirvana - In Utero. If you enjoyed Surfer Rosa I urge you to listen also to PJ Harvey - Rid Of Me and The Breeders - Pod. The Breeders singer is the Pixies bass player on Surfer Rosa who sings ‘Gigantic’, so if you enjoyed that song you’ll love the Breeders.

Proper good album, really underrated, loads of bands from back then haven't aged well, I still listen to this album. They didn't survive the drummer leaving.

I saw Johnny Marr supporting Pearl Jam at Hyde Park 2022. His set was fantastic.
