Paulk Total Station LIMITED. my version PTS-XL
READ FIRST BEFORE COMMENTING....
I use a panel saw/ track saw, NOT the table saw for large 4X8 stock. It's waaaaay easier and more accurate. I use a separate table top made of 2 inch foam board insulation to keep the blade off the bench. It's NEVER fun pushing a 4x8 across a portable table saw.
Thank you Ron for introducing us to such a great workbench.
I highly recommend purchasing the plans for this bench from Ron Paulk. Even if your using different tools than his, it's easier and cheaper to make the changes on paper.
My must haves included first, wheels.
next. more on board tool storage.
added benefits, lighting and additional outlets.
Thanks for watching. God bless America! I

Is the #DUSTDEPUTY worth the money?
Переглядів 154 тис.8 років тому
The #DUSTDEPUTY is NOT a dust collector. It IS a dust separator. Therfore, it keeps your filter clean maximizing the force of suction that your vac can produce. This is a real world demonstration of that system on the job.

A comprehensive tutorial with advise from a real carpenter. To start... Check both sides of the casing for plumb with a 4-6 ft. level. Measure an inch wider and taller than the existing casing ( if the opening is way out, you may need to go wider) or 3 inches wider than an opening without casing. That way if the casing isn't perfectly plumb, it'll hide behind the door. You don't want to be able...

Super easy $20 miter saw stand!
Переглядів 159 тис.8 років тому
I needed a stand that worked for me. I could not justify spending $200.00 on on one of those folding stands that pack up well but don't support more than one piece of material at a time. And no little table to set a couple of tools on. This really works for production. The 4 supports work great for various lengths without having to keep moving them. I use the support to the right of the saw to ...

just drive a 16 penny finish nail a 1/16th or so above the bottom bed line, then just pull it when you get to it, let the crown come down to where its supposed to be, nail it up .... crown held itsself up, no holes....walla, done.....

It's one of those "size matters" deals... A larger dust removal system with a blower motor (instead of a vacuum cleaner) and a larger cyclone dust remover will likely do a much better job... But that costs a lot more money. For hobbyists, you use what you can afford to put together because it's likely not your main income.

Yeah, editing videos takes time away from jobs that pay. Recording videos slows down the job that I'm on. I keep saying I'm going to get back to it. I've got hundreds of videos still waiting to be edited. I just realized that I haven't been getting paid for years because I didn't understand monetization! Ugh. Thanks for your comment! Have a great day
