Well done! 🙌🏼
Wow good video ever thank you!
I breathe into my diaphragm and still feel like I'm talking from my throat. What's the reason?
Hey, I have a question, and I couldn't find the answer clearly anywhere. This video was the best I can understand, but I still can't differentiate if I'm speaking from my diaphragm or my throat.
omg. I'm at drama school - I'm in my second term. I've had tons of voice classes and my vocal coach is a linklater specialist and has given us tons of exercises to do and i can always do the exercise but when it comes to actually speaking i am CONSTANTLY getting the same voice note of 'not supported' and 'can't maintain being on voice'. My director was exasperated with me today because I kept going off voice and i realised on my way home that I have no idea when i'm on voice in order to replicate it and sustain it - all my voice exercises are short sounds and single words teamed with an action like a squat and not connected to text. - and I can't exactly march on a stage and squat my way through 'to be or not to be' - i know it sounds nuts but your explanation made something click in my head and i FINALLY understand what I should have understood in my first week of drama school. Thank you!!!
Wow these are some solid practical tips right there! thanks
Glad you see merit in these! 🙌🏼😌
thank you
You are most welcome! 🙏🏻
Commenting to Help the algorithm Excellent work dear youtuber
Much appreciated Bryan! 🙌🏼 Every little word of appreciation helps to thank you for making the effort 🙏🏻
Thanks for including a diagram, showing where the diaphragm muscle is. Everyone tells me to breathe from my diaphragm, but I’ve never had a clear idea of where it is. now I understand.
That’s the most common problem in fact! How does one attempt or correct something when they don’t even know where it is! 😅 I’m glad this helped! :)
Thankuh so much ma'am... could u please suggest some ways in order to tackle difficult questions?❤
Glad you enjoyed these. A question’s difficulty depends on how you perceive it…would you give me an example of a question you’d find difficult to answer?

This video is one of a gem! I found something that I've been looking for so long, despite watching videos that didn't make much sense... I'm subscribed!! Thanks for this video 🙏👍
exactly what i wanted to know how to use Diaphragm breathing and speaking. Thank you
Thank you Supreet , it's really useful thank you again for your help🙏🏼❤
Glad this helps! 🙌🏼
My diaphragm is in my toe and I can't reach it😭
😂😂😂 Never heard of that one before! 🤪 The good thing is you don’t really have to ‘reach’ it, just need to ‘feel’ it! Kick it up towards your belly ;) and perhaps when it’s at its designated place, use it for voice projection. ;)
@SUPAbilitybySupreetBedi oh okie I was just joking abt it ofc😁🤍
I really enjoyed this video. She's,a great teacher!
Thank you Natalie! 🙏🏻
Very nice
Thanks Kailash!
❤
I am using my diaphragm when I speak in English, but my projection towards my mouth is most likely making my voice a little higher. Could you tell me what I should do to make my voice lower when I speak and use the diaphragm? Could you give me a video link if you have those types of videos?
Good to know that you are already using your diaphragm in order to make an impact. Well done! Because this isn’t as natural a process as breathing yet and you are kind of forcing your mind and body to do that, the voice tends to sometimes hold a higher ‘unnatural’ pitch but trust me when I say that with practice you will start to sound perfectly pitched. Keep recording yourselves and observe your body language when you do use the diaphragm, are your shoulders going high? Chest puffing out evidently? Tummy sucked in visibly before each utterance? All of these are signs that you still have a long way to go and practice is what’s needed. When one uses their diaphragm correctly, you should NOT be able to witness any physical ‘struggle’ or efforts…it should look normal and feel natural :)
@@SUPAbilitybySupreetBedi I regularly record my voice when I imitate an American native afterwards I compare my voice to the original when I listen that time exact match to the original and other thing when I speak I feel like my diaphragm work properly because something tense into my diaphragm
I stammer ,can u suggest exercise for stammering,
Supreet you are absolutely beautiful and such a kind and calm manner which always makes learning easy, this is the video I've been looking for.Thank you❤
Wow, what a sweet feedback 🤗 I’m super happy that this video helped in some way! Thank you for taking the time out to share your thoughts. 😊

You're wonderful supreet! I mean just wow. You have made the learning so easy. I humbly request you to continue posting videos it would be of great help. Lots of love❤❤❤
Awww aren’t you the sweetest! Thank you for such lovely feedback! I aim to put some new content out but have my hands stuck in so many pies! 😊 I’ll get there again! Meanwhile, pls do get my book on Amazon if you can. It is called “Be Ready for the World” by Supreet Bedi. It’s all about communication strategies so I’m certain you will enjoy it! 🙌🏼
❤❤❤
Speaking with support can really help your singing voice. Even a few days makes a big difference. You carry over using support, projection, etc.
True say! That support is phenomenal if you use it correctly! That’s how I survive hours of stage emceeing :)
really informative and indispensable in language teacher's work, thx!
Thank you!! 🙏🏻
Tq so much supreeta❤
Will this help my nasal sound voice? I just wish to speak clearly
Will practicing this method by reading aloud make it sound more natural over time? Thanks for the video 😊
You are most welcome! Reading aloud is vocal gym for the mouth. What starts with effort, indeed ends up natural because clarity becomes a habit. You open your mouth and talk not just for an exercise, but it becomes everyday conversational style.
thankyou so much for this good information...
Glad you found it useful! 🙌

Hi! Thanks for the suggestion but would you pls elaborate on what exactly would you want covered in this ‘executive presence’ video?

breathe thru nose or mouth when talking?
I want to make use of this book, is the discount offer still on?
Hi! The Amazon 20% sale is available without a code. Pls order on the following link, thanks! ☺️ www.amazon.in/Be-Ready-World-Supreet-Bedi/dp/9357764755
When I hear my recorded voice I feel sound coming from my nose😅. How can I work on it.
That’s because the voice is superficial from the top layers of your vocal compartment that can sound nasal … you need to find better projection/throw that has depth and usually comes from the diaphragm. Have you watched that particular video on my channel yet? I’d highly recommend it! 🙌
@@SUPAbilitybySupreetBedi Yes I had watched that video, will practice it, thank you
Hi, what code to use to get the discount?
www.amazon.in/Be-Ready-World-Supreet-Bedi/dp/9357764755 That’s the link! 🙌🏼
Perfect
thank you !!!!💞
You're welcome 😊
your chest voice is sweeter and full of melody than the men like "powerful" voice.
Thank you for sharing your opinion…and the compliment :) However, it’s hard to sustain a ‘chest voice’ for long…especially in a profession like mine where I’ve got to talk for hours! That’s why voice projection helps in public speaking. It sounds more purposeful too than the tough vibrations without the use of diaphragm :)
What I have been looking for. I stammer and this will definitely help improve my speech. You are amazing. I hope you know that. Thank you. ❤
Aww that’s super sweet! Thank you for taking the time out to convey that! Not many people give compliments generously 😅 I do hope this helps you immensely in reducing the stammer. My own sister used to stammer till her teens when breathing exercises really helped and now when she does, it’s almost missable! Best wishes ♥️
Hey! nice to meet you!!
Nice to meet you too! Thanks for stopping by!
This is fantastic, Ms. Bedi! Thank you. I took many notes!
Good to meet a note taker! 🙌🏼 Hope you succeed in implementing it effortlessly soon! 😊
For last one month i have been trying to improve my tonality and voice . I am feeling that your video would be beneficial for me. Thanks for providing such a nice content. keep it up❤
I’m certain the video will address that particular need for a voice fix! 🙌 Glad you found it useful 🙌
Jeez.!!!😯😯 I considered her as a FOREIGNER until she started talking in HINDI..🥹🤩 Anyways, I found the video absolutely helpful. Thanks & Cheers..✌️✨
Haha I do tend to confuse people! I’m also a presenter and had an event in London for Indian delegates last night, whilst on stage talking perfect English I slipped into “Kaise hain aap sab!?” And saw the faces lighten up with disbelief and relief! 😂 I’m glad the video helps! 🙌
@@SUPAbilitybySupreetBedi Haha😁😁 I do agree with you, its really fun to shock people surprisingly with our actions/words.
