He has aspergers
Jane and Lizzie single handedly keeping their cool and keeping the family from obliterating
Chills. Freaking chills. ❤
Anna Chancellor's great at this role. She's got a wonderful ability to (and I mean this in the best possible way) make Charlotte's smile stay in place, while the rest of her face sags like a bloodhound's.
What was the name of the piano piece played by bingley's sister ?
The candles in the background are not flickering ! technology ka back to the future
This iconic film manages to feed my soul in surprising ways. If pyramids think they're eternal... they need to see Pride and Prejudice 95
This version is a lemon comparing with one with Keira and Matthew. Here there's nothing in Lizzie to fall in love with ,no beauty or character. And Darcy is somehow infantile,no character whatsoever. Lemon and lemon. Lizzie plain common, Darcy infantile and weak. Rubb8sh
She sounds like those kids that think talking to the quite kid is the funniest, riskiest thing ever 😂
Русский,
can we talk about how good this actress is she's hilarious
Anna Chancellor plays this role so incredibly well. Note perfect. Her exhale of disappointment at not being the pretty woman with fine eyes and slight waver on "i am all astonishment". Establishes her character's personality and motivations instantly
Darcy, at 0:28: dude, move out of the way or I will kill you
I like how jane's dad jikingly pointed out that jane and mr bingley would never fight because of how similar they are and how their servant will take advantage of their generous kind nature
I loved this video ❤ Btw, i just have one question: "Are your parents in good health? And your sisters?"
The dead serious look on his face when he says "... one of the handsomest women of my acquaintance 😳😠" 😂😂😂
I remember reading that in the book, and I laughed out loud (aged 12 when I first read it).
Я прочитала много понимающих комментариев по отношению к миссис Беннет типа мне за 30 и я её стала понимать, но давайте признаем, что она была абсолютно глупой женщиной.
She looks elderly, and his acting is confined to staring in a deranged manner.
The actress was 26. Be real lmao
@@petalchild but her face and voice look 56
she has the most punchable face as Caroline 😂
6:14 Caroline's face is stuck with that plastic smile but her eyes are so expressive it is hilarious.😂
In the book there's a wonderful scene where theyre all reading books for whatever reason and Mr Darcy picks up one book and Caroline, a literal fly over the man goes and gets the sequel to the book he's reading and then spends the entire time looking over at what he's reading instead. 🙄😒
That scene never fails to amuse. Plus her hanging over Darcy while he writes to his sister, offering her help when it's not needed!
Mary is rather pretty in this version, but how she can't sing and be so unaware of it.😂
Ok the sexual tension between Lizzie & Mr Darcy is palpable sincerely am I right?!?! ❤👑🥵😘🤯😋👍💋😁
He only looked up when Elizabeth Bennet began walking around the room, and it was already established that he admired her figure.
Colin Firth is the quintessential Mr. Darcy!!!!❤ He gave Caroline the what's for as well! He lurved his beloved Lizzie darlin'!
my most favourite 🤩 Mr.Grumpy #1 Rocks 🤟🤘🤙He is the Master of "Putting the most Vile people, to the rightful place they deserve"👏👏👏
I miss reading and watching this!!!
"Jane Eyre" and "Pride and Prejudice" are the quintessential romances of all time.
what a stupid rich woman !
The actress who plays Elizabeth is absolutely beautiful 😍❤️
Jennifer Ehle!
I just LOVE IT ! ❤❤❤
She coyld make me worse,,,.🤒
I have often thought that these actors and actresses who have real prowess in music must be supreme in their acting abilities to be able to butcher the music in their roles so believably.
Poor Hill the cook.
This version of Mrs. Bennet used to annoy me so badly, but as I've gotten older and have come to fully understand her predicament, it's absolutely perfect. She is highly neurotic because she has five daughters and no sons, and her husband is old. They will all be absolutely destitute when her husband dies if at least one of her daughters does not marry well. That reality could've hit them at any moment.
Drama queen is right! She's the queen of drama queens! I especially like the scene where Mr. Bennet tells Lizzy he will never see her again if she does marry Mr. Collins and Mrs. Bennet plants herself in a chair, "Oh, Mr. Bennet!" LOLOLOL!
I’m old lol. My mom had the VHS tapes of this series. She loved this series the mosr mainly because of Colin forth (though she won’t deny it loool) I wish I could see this again somewhere . Every other series and movie is not the same
5:41 what episode is this
I love near the end, after Lady De Burg had been to Longbourn, where D'Arcy admits to her that her lashing out at him, made him a better man. It made him think about whether he was not, indeed, "ungentlemanly." He realizes that he was brought up to be proud, unrelenting & too openly honest. He said he was raised with good principles but was not taught how to apply them, or something like that. 😍😍
Yes, and nice little touch there, Frenchifying Mr. Darcy's name.
@Musicienne-DAB1995 Another "British" character in a novel I once read was Lord D'Egremont. (I pictured Russell Crowe, for some reason, while reading that novel.) 😊
I love watching the other character's reactions to Mrs Bennett. I think that with our modern way of acting and talking, we don't *fully* understand what she's saying (--probably most people commenting here have, like me, watched this movie a hundred times--but think of how you felt the first time you saw it). The way Jane's throat tightens up, the way Mr's Bingley's sisters actually start snickering though doing so goes against everything they've been taught, the way Lydia looks thoughtful and somehow tries to sympathize, etc.)
Best version EVER
God how boring.
Elizabeth really lucked out in the end! Not only did she get Mr. Darcy as a husband and Georgiana as a little sister, but she also got Mr. Bingley as the world's sweetest brother-in-law. Lizzie and Bingley's friendship is probably one of the most underrated dynamics in the novel. They're just so sweet and respectful to one another (albeit with some light teasing now and then 3:05). It was lucky for Darcy as well since he got the woman of his dreams and his best friend became his brother! In the novel it says that later on Jane and Bingley buy a house 30 miles away from Pemberley and visit Lizzie and Darcy often. I love to imagine their kids playing together. I bet they're the closest little cousins ever!🥰
Where can i watch this show?
Moviebox
Yo también me enamore de ella. 😂. Encantadores.
Love Charlotte, always coherent!
Love your videos .. Follow you from Egypt 🇪🇬
Jane Austen is nothing if not objective and understanding of her characters. Caroline's been waiting around for Darcy to like her for years and he hasn't and now that he likes someone else she feels robbed. She's a jerk but we know why. Like, she's wrong but we get it. Also, Caroline being around Darcy goes to show that he really is a catch, even though Caroline doesn't really know or appreciate him as Elizabeth will come to.
Also, Mr. Darcy likes Caroline Bingley. Why else was he perfectly comfortable admitting to her that he liked Elizabeth Bennet's eyes?
she tries to crap on his love for Elizabeth and he just grabs the turds: "this will fertilize my love nicely"
mrs bennet used to annoy me to no end, and then I realized if I had 5 daughters in those times to worry about marrying off I'd probably be stressed as hell too lol
even worse, if they didn't marry then their entire estate would be inherited by Collins
Engagement mr darcy and refusing etempt
