I also drive a Maus and other tier ten tanks and in today's META if you're not spamming gold at tier 8 and above, you won't do any decent damage and therefore will get more losses than wins! And if you can't afford to run food and spam gold, then you should stay at tier 7 and below and build up your credits! I have a "Free to Play" account and started this year with over 165 million credits. I spam gold, run food and play every day. I'm down to 119 million credits today. During the Holiday Ops I'll rebuild my credit stash to MORE that my previous 165 million...hopefully!

Not realy... sure, it helps, but is far from a requirement. I do personally play entirely for free, do not fire even a single gold round on any of my tanks and am currently sitting on 61.6% win rate. Although i have to admit i don't enjoy playing TX anymore, i stick to T8/9. But spamming gold wasn't the point of my criticism. It is that the video title suggest that this match did display great strategical gameplay... which it just didn't. It was a great game, no doubt, with more damage than i've ever done, but not because of any great strategical decissions... ^^'

I do personally play entirely for free and do not have a single gold round loaded on any of my tanks, yet sit on 61.6% win rate. Although i have to admit i don't enjoy TX anymore and stick to T8/9.... But him spamming gold wasn't realy my criticism. It's that the video title suggest that he won due to his great stratetigal decissions, which he just.... didn't. He had an amazing game, no doubt about that, with more damage than i've ever done, just not due to his skills in stratetical decission making...

I do personally play entirely for free with not a single premium round loaded on any of my tanks and still achieve 61.6% win rate. Although i have to admit i don't enjoy TX matches anymore and stick to T8/9 mostly... And him firing gold wasn't realy the point, it's that the video title is kinda misleading. it suggest him winning due to his stratetical skills, which he just didn't. He had a great game, no doubt about that, with more damage than i've ever done, just not because of his masterful stratetical decissions...
