Love this - always loved the soundtrack but this is the first time listening to a comprehensive compilation!

Is it me or is the audio only monophonic? I am not feeling a sense of stereophonic depth & width. Also, I wish Bear also incorporated the famous main theme from Classic original BSG as a homage, perhaps as the outro or an encore, since they also used that theme in the reimagined series at one point. There is no reimagined 2003 series to exist if it was not for the original. I am a fan of both series. There is now rumor of a 3rd BSG remake/reboot/continuation coming along, headed by Sam Esmail. 05/21/24

Mr McCreary is one of the most talented young composers of his generation (if not THE most). His blending of Eastern and Western influences is fluid and effortless. At only 45, I anticipate great things. It seems to me heaven itself is paying attention.

They messed up on the atlantean sword theme , when that hit comes in it sounded so damned wonky and unfocused and lacked that sharpness

As a hip hop r and b lover. There is something VERY INTRINSIC ABOUT A ORCHESTRA. ITS A GREAT CAREER. ITs a trip how the conductor looks like he is just twirling a stick but its something more deep about it to the orchestra. Like hand signals from a aviation boatswains mate on a aircraft carrier.

Deeply inspired by masters such as Rimsky-Korsakov, but still unique and breathtaking!! Listen to 'Scheherezade', and you will hear/understand some of what the maestro was creating, inspiring and feeling!! One of my favorite film scores. Priceless, amazing, inspired and beautiful!!

Great concert. The orchestra (strings, horns...) shows its limits, but still, it sounds great ! You can learn a lot by watching this kind of concert attentively. For example, from 13:20, the associate concertmaster girl looks several times at the conductor as if she was unsure of something or trying to get some info, whereas the concertmaster (at her right) plays with eyes firmly upon the score.
