Rainbow Lorikeet's new nest
They really found a great hole 2-3m off the ground, hard for predators or bigger bird nest stealers, with a perch and shadow in the morning.

Always in fewer numbers among the Rainbow Lorikeet cousins, this species shows similar behaviour in many of the facets of the lorikeets, except the aggressiveness.

We have a bower bird too so amazing to watch as he gathers all the blue objects 😊
مهع❤😮
What does their sound means
Territorial display
This particular Bird tune is so pleasing, whereas chainsaw nasty sound is horrific. I betcha you made that observation only for the people to comment on it, so you get the stats olympics going 😅🤣😂
When you listen to chainsaws in the amazon forest at a certain distance, sadly login trees, muffled by the walks of trees and vegetation, it sounds very similar.
He is adorable !
A character!
The nose on that little guy! :O
It reminded me the Coatí of Southamerica.
What a beautiful bird!
My parents had one in their backyard for years. We loved watching him dance for the ladies.
FLOOF
Beautiful nature, magical
White throated honey eater. Well that's the new nickname for my Gf 😂
These birds are gorgeous! New subscriber here ✨
👏
👍👍👍
Excelente profesor. 👍👍👍
they are not native to Australia they were imported to Aus in the 1860 to control pest in Victoria market garden they are native to India Asia and the middle east
You are referring to the Common Myna, an introduced pest, as all those brought in by ignorance and arrogance by the “settlers”, who instead of following the knowledge of the real Australians that inhabited the land for 60k years, chose to believe that are smarter than Nature, as usual. The miners, Noisy, Bell, Black-eared and Yellow-throated are more Australians than you and me, because have been here for millions of years, please surf the web,eBird has the info, as well as many other sites.
BTW, Australia, together with Indonesia, share the exclusiveness of having the biggest percentage of endemic birds in the world, way more than 50%..
Aren't they extinct
Alive and kicking, greatly successful because the eat anything meaty, as kookaburras…
My cat immediately got alert 😂. He just hates birds who are disturbingly loud. Thank God he likes showing off and brings them to me alive and mostly uninjured. He gets his favorite treats and the bird miraculously disappears. 😂 For the injured ones I have a small bird hospital. Haven't seen any casualties for a year now but it's a full time job
Amazing camera work .. so beautiful to watch . ❤
Thanks
Last one that attacked me won't be attacking anyone again. Hate these birds
Ravens and turkeys are a plague but as important as lapwings in Nature..
Tough man
What a cute little bird!

It is not a problem at all
#beeater

Aaaah yes, the bin chicken. Commonly found near our bins
...unfortunately, because people do not understand how bad is to feed wild animals. In many other countries, the common pigeon is the bird found on the streets, destroying monuments with their acid droppings and contaminating everything in their path. We are lucky to have on our streets, the White Ibis, the Lapwing, Wallabies, Cockatoos, Parrots and more. Remember they were here many millions of years back, we are barely some thousand years old and displaced them from their ancestral land.
So Kool!!
It's wonderful how God made all yhe different birds in the world. Thanks for sharing this with us!!🥰🥰🧡🧡💛💛💕💕❤️❤️❣️❣️💋💋👄👄😇😇🙏🙏
Awesome Carlo!! Thanks
You forgot to mention the yellow throated miner, it’s the inland equivalent of a noisy miner behaving the same and being just as common
"The Noisy Miner is a native Australian honeyeater, often mistaken for the Common Myna, an invasive species. He has two close cousins though, one is the Yellow-throated Miner, the other is the Bell Miner or Bellbird. If you live in eastern Australia, chances are you’re pretty familiar with this bird."
