I still don't have S11 or Grace but I'm so tempted to use my upcoming selector to just get Rina m4. I keep losing to Rina mindscapes but learning that m4 might actually open up a playstyle that can keep the new disc set at 3 stacks is kinda hype. I'm sure Astra Yao is going to be built to keep the 3 stacks up easily but having easy access to it on 2 units would be cool.

So, the Astral set lends itself to a double support/Seth and support team since it triggers with anyone quick assisting. And it works well with Lighter + Lucy,.

Ugh i hate when gacha games punish you for vertical investment. Its not enough to have 2 well built end game teams, now you need to pull and build 3.

Wouldn't Nicole and Lucy make better use of Astral Voice than Rina? Their EX Special also uses 60 Energy, but their personal W-engines include an additional buff to Energy Regen, and they don't need to worry about the Puffer Eletro set.

HC casual made a video about this but apparently there's a secret tech with Yanagi. When Yanagi parries the game still considers her as taking a big hit so you can trigger quick assist with her. Would the disc set be worth on her or on a support if she is able to stack it?

defensive assist bounty + heavy attack spam sounds like Ben's time to shine lol

3 stars (1 per level) for just meeting the "bounty points" condition is pretty good (5000/6000 for just doing the unique condition) This means even with not many chars built you can at least slap in a solo agent or a duo and get 1 star without much trouble

I think this is gonna be interesting, though I'm not sure if I will be able to get the highest rating on this one (I'm still not done with the tower yet)

Keep in mind that it also depends on the team. When you have 2 supports (Ex. Caesar + Lucy) there's no point running protopunk on both of them since the effect doesn't stack.

Astra will be a support (every leak say that she is ether). Evelyn for what we saw just seems like a physical character, maybe an attacker but that would be weird.

I imagine the reason most players don't use it is because it's a new disk set, and they likely don't want to farm all over again, especially if their current one already has good substats

Individual ults will probably change this dynamic, if you so desire you should be able to mix swing jazz and protopunk to have the effect at near constant up time of the buff after the next update.

The part about seth useing swing jazz is simple to explain, you need that for many suports to begin with, people had a swing jazz ready, so they just put that on him its more then enough if it has good stats, since hes a support type people dont invest much

One thing that make me uneasy with Astra is her necklace with a red dot in a green circle. We saw that earlier, when Ms Sarah talk with Perlman in prison we see her eye with a red pupil and a green iris, Same colors, so is it me or is something fishy going on?

The new quick assist support disc set Astra voice is perfect for my mono electric team, with both Seth and rina can trigger quick assist. Seth on proto punk provide both 15% damage boost and an extra 8% from the new set when he parry and quick assist back to Yanagi.

I was already running it on my Lucy. But it was mostly because i have crap swing jazz discs and good proto punk ones. I will say it works well though. Never really thought of switching to swing jazz after using it.

With Yanagi, I find Swing Jazz horrible on Rina because of what it does to the shock pool. Plus I feel stunning isn't meta. Hacking away at a daze bar just for a short burst window that may not even guarantee the kill when you could just have permanent uptime on proto punk. Perfect example on Dead End Butcher.

The main advantage of swing jazz is that it activates at a better time, mainly chain attacks, also depending on the team, you might not want to defensive assist a lot, there is also the fact sometimes you just run both (eg: yanagi/seth/rina) so in stun teams swing jazz is just better since you only care about the buff during the stun window, so in general while yes proto punk as better up time it is not necessarily a dps increase, and lastly I'll stop ignoring the elephant in the room, the 2 pc set on proto punk is useless on most characters, so you are sacrificing a 2 pc set to have the 4 pc set proto punk making it a big con and the reason why it's not as widely used.

Pls help me pick: Rina or Soldier 11? I have both Lighter and Yanagi. I'd choose Soldier 11 for Lighter or Rina for Yanagi. But I heard hoyo will be giving out free Harumasa though.. Im having a mental crisis
