Ep3 is the type r. Ep2 is the "normal " civic .

We did this on 2004 EP3, and we wound up putting it back in. That weight centered the weight distribution. The car is my wife's daily driver, she is petite 105 soaking wet. She drives it like she stole it and has had the car since new. She complained that removing the seat made it unpredictable. So remove at your own risk. It is not a race car, this is a really quick grocery getter that encourages taking the long way home.

I bought an 02 Civic Si recently and my impression of the car is it’s a money pit that’s hard to work on. Having a new ignition switch module replacement and 2 new programmed keys cost me $1600 - yes, without an ECU change you have to go to the dealer. From the moment I had to pay that repair bill I hated the car in particular and Honda in general.

The black depo projector lights don’t require HID it’s plug and play because I have em. And get led light bulbs .Halogen bulbs with caused oxidation in your headlights over time as it burns hotter!

Saw the box in the thumbnail. Same headlights I got in for my silver EP3! I already have LEDs I pulled out of my CR-V that was my late father's. When I get off work today, I'm pulling in the garage and firigin up the space heaters. It's 30 degrees here in Michigan right now. Really wish we didn't have to pull the bumper off. I had a 93 EX coupe that had been lowered before I got it. Had to drive it up on a ramp to change the oil. Had to pull the bumper off before I could drive up the ramp lol.

Not gonna lie I had one that was white and in the light it had like pink stripes down it but I wrecked it and I was just chilling with my gf and I started thinking about my car so I left her and watched videos about the civic SI I miss my baby do much😭😭😭😭

Had a black 02 EP3 when they first came out had less than 100 miles. A year later picked up a RSX-S. The Ep3 is the car I miss today.

Super affordable I just got me a remanded OEM alternator for 600$ lol

I’m doing payments on a 2003 si and the parts are a little hard to find where I’m from and especially the bumper. It needs the front bumper, passenger fender and headlights but I already got the fender but the bumper is hard to find

MotoIQ has a great video on how to fix all of the suspension geometry and steering rack issues with the EP3 for relatively cheap and no custom fabrication. That's a big deal for EP3 owners.

I've been driving my ep3 for 16 winters in Utah. Very little rust to be honest. Must have been in heavily salted areas, and washed very little.

Just got my ep3 today :(
