Lol Yeah, this run is a little bit outdated. I already have an almost (but still not) sub 40 on this category. I'm just lazy to post it since nobody feels interested in speedrunning this game. =(

There will still be a small niche of people like me who will enjoy it! thank you for putting the time in speedrunning that game! I remember I had checked back in 2015 if anyone was running it and there was nothing at the time. When I checked again last week I was so stoked! Especially since your run is already super well thought out. I feel like the jetpack ammo required quite a lot of planning.

@@weaponlord4562 Yeah just being on the platform wall is enough to stop her from teleporting onto the platform. You can prevent her from teleporting onto 2 of the 4 platforms

You're absolutely right about the stages where it would be useful. But I have no idea if that's consistent honestly. I've just found it hours ago. lol And That's the only time it happened. I thought about death incarnate but man, I totally forgot about roekel headquarters! where we can see the shields most. But again, you're right, the problem is that it would be useful in stages where you need to reach a point to trigger the "Victory". I think in Roekel Headquarters the enemies would still be active and we'd have to kill them. But in any other stages where we have this "Victory" point to clear the stage it can be done. It's a matter of fiding out a move that allows us to pull of with some consistency. Note: If there's a way without need to thrown an enemy that's better, since the enemies spawn far away and walks randomly. You can see it was all a matter of luck. The Ravager just happened to walk near the shield

@@weaponlord4562 It would probably be easier to do it with Invaders because they can only attack you from up close so they would run up to you if you were standing by the green shield and then you could try throwing them. Enemies who shoot projectiles however can keep their distance from you Thinking about it now though, pretty sure the walls in roekels headquarters are different and don't damage you if you touch them. But Paragon's regular throw is the same as Elektra's so it might be possible. Honestly, I don't see it working for any mission other than this one and maybe 1 or 2 others. If invincibility frames are needed for this trick, it might be possible to use throws, super-throws, super blocks or throwing items to get past the shield. For Wolverine's mission Street Fight where the green shield also appears, his super throw would probably work better than his regular throw to get past the shield

Yeah, I'm aware of this "shortcut" But it's harder to jump and cut through the wall than just passing through the lasers. There's a chance you can miss the jump multiple times. and the time you save with it is minimum. Also you would have to break the corridor doors after anyway because some enemies appear in corridors sometimes. So at the end of the day I'd rather just passing through lasers and break the door out to living room normally.

@@weaponlord4562 It's not that hard, all you have to do is jump and do the super attack in the air and it should just slash the wall open. If you feel it's slower for you, then you don't have to do it, but pretty sure it should be faster

Thanks! Hey, btw I have a more safe strat for Death incarnate. Which consists in fighting the first enemies in the alley instead of going to the streets where the amount of hazards is overwhelming lol. I now do the other manipulations more safely. In call of heroes the desolator refuses to ve shot but he is easilly destructible with an object thrown Fatal Heat gives me trouble once in a while, but the strat I use is just to calm down while she's in the fire and grab an giant object and throw at her soon as possible I now prefer to fight johnny ohm red mission instead of "there came a spider" as this one gives me the bugs too. Thanks for the support, mate, and keep more runs coming! I wanna to see ur records. My PB for now is 1h 46min, not much improvement I know =P

@@weaponlord4562 Yeah I've been practicing the last few missions over the weekend. I'm a lot more consistent with missions including Death Incarnate and Paragon's Revenge. They're still difficult of course and I see a lot of runs dying to these missions The Imperfect missions I don't do are Wink vs Elektra and Van Roekel vs Iron Man, and I'm torn between whether to do Along Came a Spider, or Rage of the Beast (Wolverine vs Storm). I'm leaning towards Rage of the Beast Yeah sorry I haven't been getting runs done yet but I'm still busy with college at the moment. I'll be finished my exams at the end of May, after which I should have plenty of time for running the game. I've also just been practicing strats so I get a decent time when I actually do a run

Vlw bro. Estou pensando. O problema é que no hard eu acho que o recharger só repara o carro 1 vez. E isso exige uma puta habilidade pra zerar numa run só sem continue, assim como fica mais difícil fazer um bom tempo... Para compensar o pouco hp eu poderia usar um carro pesado. Mas os carros pesados no Twisted Metal black não tem especiais muito bons. To pensando ainda como fazer rs

@@weaponlord4562 Saquei, por isso estranhei o fato de não ter quase nenhum speed run no hard (ou eu acho que não tem nenhum mesmo). O jogo é bem difícil por si só no normal ainda.

@@anongus88 Esse Twisted Metal é considerado o mais difícil da série. Mas tem um cara aqui no youtube que fecha todos os Twisted Metal no hard com todos os personagens. Ele não é um speedrunner. mas os tempos dele são bons. O nome dele é Luis Parson. Dá uma olhada nas playlists dele, vc pode gostar.

Lol, on the easiest level (Wussy) shots take really low damage, the hardest though would be a completely different run, shots take tons of damage. The hardest is called Death Wish, haha

The best setup I found to run this game was on ePSXe emulator. But the emulator doesnt come configured, with bios and all, you have to do it manually. You can search here for ePSXe tutorials, how to install, config, plugins, bios etc, for best playstation emulation. I hope this will help ^^

Duke Nukem Zero Hour was a great game. But is a little different, more focused on action rather than platforming. Time to kill was just like first tomb raiders for playstation, but done better. lol What was a real bummer was Land of babes, terrible sequel made by same developer "N-space". I don't get why it was so bad compared to Time to Kill =(
