Tajine Recipe: How to Make Moroccan Tajine in 6 Easy Steps
As travelers explore the land of Morocco, they surely will discover the aroma of Tajine that fills nearly every corner of the authentic parts of the country. Myself and Maria from Real Life Dinner cooking blog will show you in only 5 steps how to prepare the dish made from Tajine, from basic cooking elements you already have at home. As we know true Tajine cannot be replicated outside of Morocco, we did our best to share with you some authentic methods that can be used at home, even if you don't own a Tajine dish itself.
What ingredients are in our Tajine:
olive or argon oil, bone-in chicken, vegetables of choice (such as carrots, potatoes, zucinni, snap peas, green beans), spices such as (paprika, coriander, oregano, cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, and salt), lemon, tomatoe, green pitted olives
:56- Step 1: Pour Oil in the Pan
1:01- Step 2: Peel & Slice Onions
3:11- Step 3- Wash Chicken with Lemon
3:37- Step 4- Cut Vegetables
6:30- Step 5- Add Spices
7:19- Step 6- Let Tajine Simmer

Everything I have read and seen on trip advisor forum says that marroco has a closed currency and so therefore you can’t order it in your home country before you go .you have to get it from atms or get your cash exchanged in the country
Great information Thanks
Hi Lindsay ! I'm glad you liked it here in Morocco with your family. I just wanted to let you know that tap water is SAFE to drink in all cities. The only water you might wanna avoid just by the precaution is the one coming from wells in rural areas and probably the desert. So next time you're around, enjoy your water :)
Marhaba alikoum❤welcom to morocco kingdom❤👑❤️🇲🇦👍
Welcome to morocco 😍🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦💛💚💙🙏
Only in Morocco 😂 : 1. What’s in between two coffee shops? (Another coffee shop) 2. Moroccan mint tea, Pour, from as high as you can. 3. They love cats (The country is filled with cats) 4. Every second is precious for Taxi Drivers, they want every commuter in their taxi (Non-taxi-drivers of the country. TIME!!!. Where can I buy some?) 5. Moroccans are generous in donating (Hence, lots of beggars) 6. You can still buy bread for 1 dirham (Fantastic, USD$ 0.1)
Pays sale pas d’eau pour se laver , rue jonchée de sac de poubelle les rue qui puent et des prostitués de partout
Sorry but you are giving wrong information, shorts are accepted for men in touristique areas? are you serious? shorts are allowed for both men and women and Moroccan wears it, no restrictions are there for any nor men or women, the only thing is that for women unfortunately it increases the possibility to get men's attention when wearing a short skirt or short but it is not prohibited not all muslims are wearing Hijab, especially in Morocco, there is a double culture and the country is open to differences, people are nice and do not judge the same way some are doing in other countries when they notice a woman with Hijab.
Hi how r you

I'm from moroco and i like all youre vids abt moroco liv u❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the tips, that looks amazing!
As a Moroccan I see Moroccan girls dressing up half ass naked everyday! I really don’t see how you came up with conclusions of we won’t be accepting all kind of cloths. Yes I agree with you maybe in some country sides and poor areas people still cover but in cities like Rabat Casablanca I swear girls show more skin than Europe and I seen both
How fun!! Great video 🎉
Looks delicious👍 good job
#3 is totally false ,shame to spread such wrong informations ,like every Moroccan i have been drinking tap water here for over 3 decades and never had any problem or any kind of parasite ,water is totally safe and its quality is constantly controlled ,sorry but this is pure misinformation
I don’t think she’s being critical, but rather saying that like many other countries, the water in Morocco is not safe foe tourists since we don’t have the same gut flora as the locals drinking the water do. I was born in Tanzania yet I don’t drink the water there for this reason.
@@salimas7979 I agree with this comment. teh water is not dangerous, just not good for people who aren't used to it. Only drink bottled water if you are from western countries.
but should ankles and calves/shins be covered? I have long trekking skirts.
Interesting vlog provide useful information. Thank you for sharing
