Not Chinatown, but many Chinese restaurants here at Jalan Alor.
Great video, beautiful boat and camera work of a perfect sail. And the music makes this wonderful. Thanks.

Nice landing
rindu tmpt2 di sini..bnyk kenangan
Nice video, well put together, I sailed their last myself and can't wait to go back. What does it cost to keep your boat their ? CHEERS T.J.
Hi T.J. Thanks for comment, glad you liked. Liked your videos as well. Great cause. I have a small berth in Kilmore Quay. Great marina, costs about €1800 for the year. Cheers..
Thanks, I am look at putting a mooring in at Youghal, I would say their is a waiting list for Kilmore
Yes always a big waiting list, but sometimes a specific size berth becomes available. With boats getting bigger everyone wants the bigger berths. Worth putting your name down, just contact harbour office. I always liked Youghal, best wishes whatever you decide..
Aku selalu kangen malaysia
Last May I took a class at my school in the States that had me staying at WIT in Waterford for 2 weeks. For one whole day, we went to the Saltee Islands to walk around and experience the scenery. It was absolutely incredible, and honestly has to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life to this point... but seeing Kilmore Quay in the state it's currently in made me quite sad.
Glad you enjoyed the Saltees. Yes it's a beautiful place. I don't live in Kilmore Quay, but just wondering what you see is the problem with the village ? The council have pumped a lot of money into it over the last number of years. Cheers and best wishes, Nigel.
Nice boat. Awful music, but nice boat :)
Thanks for comment! My first try, hopefully the music will improve....
how much did your boat cost I want to buy one like that
Always many for sale asking between about €6K and €15K. Just Google Albin Vega for sale.
Really enjoyed this and the the Saltees videos. Boat is in great condition. One question for you, what did you use to coat the wood on deck? Reading a lot of conflicting information about this. and looks like you got it right. Séamus V1651
Hi Seamus, thanks for comments. I used Sikkens Marine Cetol, natural colour. It has very little colour in it, but after about 3 coats it gets a nice build up. Was done about 12 years ago and then occasionally touched up but is not looking so good anymore. (Except under the shelter of the sprayhood.) Also not sure if the product is available anymore.
Thanks, though I see you're right, it's not available anymore. I'll investigate the alternatives. What a wonderful sailing ground you have!
Yes very lucky to have a berth in Kilmore Quay. Love it. I think there is a lot to be said for not treating teak at all. Thats what I have done with the exterior teak hand rails. I just give them a quick scrub now and again with sea water and they look pretty good.
Yes, will follow this advice. Looks as if the teak holds up well untreated, so just the cockpit wood I need to look after. Thank you, and I hope you have some more videos in post-production!
Judging by your last video and this one I'd say your boat must have the best food I have ever seen served on a yacht. What a good day out, I must look that anchorage up.
Thanks for comment. I video my food just to annoy an old friend of mine !! Baginbun and Fethard next door are great sheltered anchorages if wind between south and north, And very peaceful.
Great! I own V1306 in Hungary and hope that in the future I can try my Vega on the same route. Greetings!
Hello Karoly. Thank you. Hope you can make it over here some day...
Video very good, I enjoyed listening to the music. Well done.
thanks Willie. hope you enjoy the recent one..
That was a tight squeeze between those rocks! I'd like to stop there someday, thanks for showing the anchorage, I saw no obvious place, (I don't have the ICC pilots.) Thanks for calling by my channel too. I did see your previous Saltee videos some time ago.
Yes a great sandy cove at the back of the Gt Saltee with great shelter if the wind between west and north east but often a bit of a sw swell coming in. Great in settled weather.
Well done Nigel, brilliant footage :-)
Thanks Wifey !
Hi Nigel, great video. I own V2106 in Denmark. Looking forward to see more of this form Your hand
Thanks John, my first proper attempt at editing. I think I will have to update my computer and software shortly. I think my computer still has valves!
Thank you so much for posting. I own V3361 here in Charleston, SC USA. You are my big brother. Our boats are near identical to the blue upholstery in the saloon and placement of the compass. Well done.
Thanks Manning Harvey, good to hear from you. I just need new canvas gear and she will be near perfect.

NICE
I think row 18 on Eirates 777 has no window. Worth checking...
I dont actually know how long we are staying where all I know is were in Australia for only 3 weeks because of the dogs :(
We going to dubai on christmas day with an Emirates 777, We will be sat in row 18 behind this one, then we stay in dubai for 2 days and fly to sydney with qantas then fly to cairns, spend a few days in cairns then drive down to townsville and get a ferry to magnetic island in the great barrier reef, then we drive don to the gold cost and go to a theme park, I think its called dream world, then we get a flight to sydney and fly back to dubai and back to gatwick....
Thanks very much and we are staying in the Emirates grand hotel. :)
Have a great trip. Are you staying in the Copthorne in Dubai? You have earned great miles. More than we did, but our flights were great value, so cant expect too many miles! I dont expect Emirates to change the Ireland flight. Apparently its very profitable. If anything hopefully they will add another flight.
Yeah, I too am flying to Dubai via Melbourne, staying a night in Dubai and flying to Dublin the next morning. Same aircraft types as you. I just joined the Emirates frequent flyer program and see that I will earn 26,000 miles for the trip, that's pretty good. It is enough to upgrade an Emirates flight in economy class between Dubai and Dublin to business class! I think I will be sticking with this route unless it gets cut which seems to happen frequently on long haul flights to and from Dublin.
Sorry, my reply has gone back up to top!
Ran out of room on last post. Will be interested in your experience. 777 seats are quite narrow but comfortable if you are not too wide! Leg room is better than the A380. Flight to Dublin often has some of the latest aircraft, so very up to date entertainment.
Are you on the flight via Sydney or Melbourne? Our flights were from Melbourne to Dubai to Ireland. Got a free stopover in Dubai due to engine failure on Sydney to Dubai A380 the previous day! Passengers on that flight got bumped up onto our flight to Ireland so were held back a day which suited us just fine. No jet lag. Loved the A380. Very quiet. But also love the 777ER. We booked row 17 on 2 legs which are great seats. 3 in our family, so can get in and out from window seat easily.
How was the flight? In a few days I am flying from Auckland to Dublin on Emirates connecting in Dubai. I've been to Ireland a dozen times in my life but this is the first time I will be able to do it on one airline. I hope the route stays open!
Thanks.
Great video, it's actually the only landing of emirates In EIDW from inside the plane, thanks!!!!! :)
Thanks, Just back from 5 long haul flights with Emirates. 4 on the 777 and 1 on A380. Must say I love the 777 even with the narrow seats..
Checked today. 50 mm. Regards.
