Hi Moke! Hope you're having a wonderful day. To start, I'd like to let you know that I liked your video, and found it entertaining until the very end. You did a great job, and got a new subscriber! I've been making youtube videos & managing channels for more than 5 years, and I have some advice for you that I WISH someone had told me before I made hundreds of videos that never seemed to get more than 10-20k views. Look at the other thumbnails on UA-cam, or in your niche. If you save them in full size, you will notice that most of them are highly saturated, and have a high percentage of the thumbnail as one color. The thumbnails that don't follow these rules will either be low performing videos, or intended for an audience that is looking for a certain creator and will click on anything with their style. You will also notice that the VAST majority have a human face in them. If I was making a thumbnail for this video, I'd have Gordon look at the Translate logo with an exaggerated expression (maybe those red eyes you used before) a solid color background (Light green, black, or red are usually the best) and if there was space (you always want to look at your thumbnail in a very small size. If your subject no longer pops, you need the subject bigger) I would add an adjective like "HORRIBLE" or maybe the word "CICERO" in a blocky font with thick black outline. I guarantee this would increase your click rate. Once you get the viewer to click however, you need them to stay. That's become harder and harder with each passing year, due to short form content. What I would've done with your video, is started IMMEDIATELY with the G man talking, without your voice in the background. You want the viewer to see what they clicked for (funny translate HL2) as SOON as possible, ideally within 3 seconds of the click. The "translated" white text on a black background is nowhere NEAR as good a hook as the G man talking. Once they get the first few words, I would add your laugh back in. If you jingle the metaphorical keys in front of the viewer at the beginning, you have a much higher chance of them finishing the video. I watched the whole thing, liked, commented, and subscribed. Literally just played it for 8hrs earlier today. Amazing atmosphere. Was playing it on Xbox 360 tho (lol) but I wish I had it on PC to get a mod to get rid of the malaria mechanic. Really was the only thing holding it back imo. Everything else was fine for the sake of making you feel like you were living in Africa.

I’d definitely not recommend survival as a new player, if you want harder difficulty then pick hard or very hard for now. Survival is brutal and meant for experienced players, you’ll need to manage thirst and hunger, infections, there’ll be no fast travel or saving at whim. Btw you may want to utilise the quicksave/save feature more often but that’s all down to preference. Personally, I’m a scum saver at heart. With your power armour, you probably want to remove the core if you’re planning on leaving it at a settlement or else settlers (like Preston and mama Murphy) may jump in and cause difficulty with finding it again or even retrieving it off of them Also there is an in game radio you’ll likely enjoy but you should check if copy right may be an issue. Me and my partner are absolutely loving the series and we hope you stick with it, good luck on your trip to diamond city!
