1968 Seagrave FWD firetruck. Sights and Sounds
I made this video so people can get an idea of what it was like to respond to a fire in the late 1960's with this type of firetruck. I don't see any videos online of this type of body style FWD and I feel I needed to get it "out there" for others to see. I feel like I am preserving a piece of history by doing this. I did this video with multiple cameras set up and a couple of different locations, so some of the editing doesn't flow the best. I did a lot of editing for the SOUNDS, so there are lots of times there isn't any action, but listen to the sounds. I love the sound of the big 500 cubic inch straight six International gas engine! You also get to hear me grinding gears and trying to find the gears. You can hear it click into place when I finally do find the gears. I love the doppler effect of the sirens, so the video stays on even after the truck passes by. The truck has 3/4 of a tank of water and is very slow to accelerate. With a single speed rear end, top speed is about 45 miles per hour. I hope you enjoy the video. Check out some of my other videos too.

1968 Seagrave FWD firetruck

I bought this old FWD (Four Wheel Drive) truck a while back and have been doing little things to it here and there to get it up to "snuff". I thought I would make a video of it so that some people might learn a little about Seagrave fire trucks and FWD trucks. Some of you may remember FWD trucks for making big snow removal equipment for airports and old county snowplows, but they also made fire...
Adam-12/Emergency! crossover

I made a video of my Adam-12 car and Squad 51 truck together. Sorry about the shadows/reflections on the back window, I didn't even notice them when I filmed it. Hope you enjoy it.
Adam-12 and Squad 51 responding Emergency! status!
Переглядів 21 тис.9 місяців тому
I combined the videos I took of my Adam-12 car with my Squad 51 truck and came up with this video. They were filmed years apart and some scenes don't really fit for the movie but it was fun. I am no expert on making or editing videos but I do what I can with the material and equipment I have. Perhaps in the future I can make something specifically for a UA-cam video with both vehicles.
Squad 51 Responding!

I got a few videos of my Squad 51 replica in action and made a small movie on my phone with the clips I took. Not a professional edit job, but you can see the truck in action a little bit. My blinking amber light in the rear of the light bar was being persnickity so in some scenes it wasn't working. Sorry about using the same streets, but can't really use the siren on busy streets. Also, my alt...
Emergency! Squad 51 replica with intro music
Переглядів 5 тис.9 місяців тому
I thought I would shoot a short video of my Squad 51 replica that I just finished recently. It's not a perfect match but it's hard to get a correct utility body without doing a lot of work. At least it does have the 440 and auto trans, just like the truck on the show. I have more details and bugs to correct when the weather gets warm again, but at least it is out on the road after many years of...
Emergency! Squad 51 Tribute
Переглядів 32 тис.Рік тому
I hope you enjoy my mini movie I made as a tribute to the TV show "Emergency" using the Code 3 Collectibles fire trucks and fire station. You will have to forgive me for re-using the fire station as the structure fire location at the end. I only have the one building to use :). You will probably notice the front right corner of the display is bent up, but there is nothing I can do about that. I...
Vintage Emergency lights

I know that Adam-12 didn't use twinsonic lights, but I think the music is cool anyway. :)
1974 Dodge D500
Переглядів 16 тис.7 років тому
This is my 74 Dodge D500 . It originally had a 14 foot grain body on it with tall sides and "barn doors" on the back. I cut it down to a flatbed. This medium duty body style ran from 1974 thru 1977. It is quite a rare truck to find in the size of the D-500. There are other 600 and 700 trucks out there, but this is the only 500 truck that I have seen, and none are in the kind of shape this is. I...
Adam-12 intro theme and closing credits with 1967 Plymouth Belvedere Police Car.
Переглядів 105 тис.7 років тому
This is a home made movie of my 67 Plymouth Belvedere Adam-12 tribute car. Most people don't remember it, but yes, a 67 was used for 1 episode (the pilot episode that convinced NBC to pick up the show). Some of you will pick up on some of the similarities to the real intros throughout the 7 seasons of the show. Enjoy!
Looks awesome! What year? 72,73 or 74? Or newer with a 72 grill. Looks close to season 1’s 72.
The first pumper I served on was a 1954 Ward LaFrance. It had a 9-foot-long nose, a wooden steering wheel, no power steering, and massive pistons. The sound it made was unmistakable. 👨🚒
Squad KMG 365!
Didn’t I warn you!!!!! These are highly wonk get back yellow dune now ! !
That’s the reason they still head back to Oklahoma boi
these are cool......
Beautiful FWD Fire Truck. They Been Making Heavy Duty Trucks Probably For 100 Years.
The police car never had a hood ornament
Was Hadji injured
When you’re working on the wiring, go for another upgrade, and place a heavy duty flasher between the headlamp high beams. That’s a wigwag that always looks good..!

Pete Malloy: You know what this is? Jim Reed: Yes sir, it's a police car. Pete Malloy: This black and white patrol car has an overhead valve V8 engine. It develops 325 horsepower at 4800 RPM's. It accelerates from 0 to 60 in seven seconds; it has a top speed of 120 miles an hour. It's equipped with a multi channeled DFE radio and an electronic siren capable of admitting three variables, wail, yelp, and alert. It also serves as an outside radio speaker and public address system. The automobile has two shotgun racks, one attached to the bottom portion of the front seat, one in the vehicle trunk. Attached to the middle of the dash, illuminated by a single bulb is a hot sheet desk. Fastened to which you will always make sure is the latest one off the teletype before you ever roll. Jim Reed: Yes sir. Pete Malloy: It's your life insurance and mine. You take care of it and it'll take care of you. Jim Reed: Yes sir. You want me to drive?
Too bad about the chrome trunk panel and the glass pack sounding exhaust.Yeah I know you can’t buy correct (sounding)mufflers any more (for some reason).
Thanks for sharing this! The bass line has to be by the great Carol Kaye
They complain about the motor going out on the revolving light...but the light is the equivalent of a low beam headlight...which is more powerful than the lights of today...less accidents then and now most people claim they never saw the red light
Awesome job. Emergency was the reason I became a Paramedic in Los Angeles so many years ago. :)
Hey! I’m a huge fan of squad 51! I have sat in the original squad, could I ever contact you to talk?
ADAM 12 IS STILL ON CH 9 ME; TV SPECTRUM CABLE
Must see TV back in the day.
My Dad handmade me a rolling door and frame, so all my fire trucks could roll out of my station. Looking back, that’s a father’s love. Thanks, Dad.
The only state that requires, if memory serves me correctly, a steady burning, solid red light visible for 500 feet. The flashing lights of all other states are foreign to me.
Hey can we get in contact? I would love to check out the squad! If it’s not weird?
Are they both at the Fire Museum? Just wondering 🤔. Love from Marysville California
No, in Michigan
Wilmerdimg follow?
I use to run home from school to see this show.Great show!
Too bad that scene wasn't a constant thing. Do an "Emergency One" "Adam-12," crossover, because I remember Officer Reed and Malloy showed up at Rampart General Hospital. So that says they are in the same universe together and in the same basic area in the same universe. The same goes for an "Emergency One" "CHIPS" cross-over just my thoughts. Have a blessed day everyone
The algorithm caught me in its Webb, Jack.
❤❤
Kept me glued to the tv when I was a kid
I enjoyed watching both shows when I was a kid. For nostalgia's sake I have the same type of siren that was used for the siren sound effect for the Adam-12 patrol car and Squad 51.
All great cop shows in 60's but the best one was Dragnet.
That was delightful. I love your light up trucks
Adam 12 and Emergency, the 2 shows my parents and I watched together, good memories
Love those vehicles.Jonny Quest music is great, too.
Race Bannon, Hadji, Bandit the dog. I spent many hours watching that show when I was a kid!
Wow. Thats really cool.
Awesome!
Very nice!
Lose the sorry music please! Nice looking truck.

In the earlier episodes the car # was 80817 with no roof markings. In the latter episodes the car # was 80312 with 012 on the roof.
Ringers Lactate in D5W transport as soon as possible 51!
I have a correct period hot sheet desk that lights up. I also have one for a matador amc with roxter map light attached to that one. Both excellent and rare $1,200 off er on each .made in California
Thanks, but I am happy with the one I have. Don't need another.
What's your look like. Cool car. If you ever sell I would consider $45,000 car and $80,900 for truck
After tones drop (Station 51 KMG365)
Both vehicles looked 'authentic' in my eyes. Job well done, sir
So lame lofl! An adult male ha ha hah ha!
out standing
awesome ¡¡
It's a nice truck, what siren box/amp do you use on it, has a nice low pitch to it.
Both A-12 and S-51 have pa20a sirens with 100 watt speakers but the squad's seems worn out and not working quite right. I have to switch it on and off multiple times to get it to start correctly and it seems to hold the tones longer than A-12.
@@randydodger7436 Alright, still both quite nice vehicles you have.
Nice Tribute cars.
