It is a possibility, but highly unlikely. Once males get old enough, they lose both the motivation, and sometimes the ability to effectively breed. But as a breeder, I am experienced with reducing/culling litters when needed, and that would be done in this case if any females had pups.

I am actually a fancy mouse breeder, so I have many mice with babies! I usually have 4-8 litters at any given time, and each momma has 1-3 litters before she gets retired.

She's a happy, healthy mom as of last night! I'll go ahead and take a video of her new little ones soon, they're doing amazing!

Dude the UK is the place to be for good quality mice!! The mouse fancy has been around in the uk for a very long time, longer than most other places in the world. We even call show mice "English show mice" over here because of how tied the idea of show quality mice and England are. I hope you're able to get some lovely babies here soon!

I use kiln dried, dust-extracted pine from my local feed store! They sell large bulk bags of it for a good price. The grass is called orchard grass, I also get it from my local feed store.

She looks banded, but she's actually pied, or possibly belted! Banded is a dominant gene in mice that causes a relatively wide band across the midsection when heterozygous, and a nearly fully white kouse when homozygous. pied and belted are recessive, in comparison. This lady came out of a pairing that did not have white marking present, so this girl's white marking genes have to be caused by a recessive gene😊. I learned the terminology from fancy mouse breeders and fancy mouse genet8c pages/clubs! You can learn more on website like the finnish mouse club website, or Facebook groups like fancy mouse genetics guide.
