Figured i would post me tool hall from my local harbor freight. Seems like i was wrong before with the warranty they are automatic 5 years now on the Hercules line of power tools. With new upgrades on design and features. Got a new 1/2 impact for $40 due to open box and black Friday. The manager said the warranty applies but only 5 days for return on open box. like comment and subscribe
Subaru Outback 3.6l P0328 Knock sensor high voltage
Переглядів 17День тому
Knock sensor is used like a little microphone to detected engine knock. These sensor are very sensitive and need to be torqued down properly to guarantee it will work properly. I could get to both sensor without removing the intake and swapped them side to side and retorqued the sensors. Problem moved with aftermarket sensor. like comment subscribe
Quick Snap On Verus Tool Review!!!

Just wanted to quickly go over the probably most rounded scan tool i ever have used as far as working on many different platforms with very little issue it seems. I tend to need to use it on old dodges and Subaru's. Has a lot of info on it. I know the Maxisys ultra also has some good info on it in the guided component tests, but why would i use it if i cant trust the info on the scan tool. Alwa...

GM Fuel level sensor reading incorrect!!
Переглядів 24День тому
After we had fixed an evap leak on this old Cadillac now customer has issue with fuel level sensor replacement. Not sure what he deal is on this unit but the new one works. I replaced the connector that came with the new one just in case but no codes for open or high voltage codes. This is what you get sometimes with aftermarket parts. I couldn't find any issue with the other techs work either ...
Toyota Rav4 P0456 Evap leak when Cold!
Переглядів 28414 днів тому
Have seen this a few times now on Toyota in particular. I think its because its system might be better at detecting really small leaks then a purge and vent style evap system. So during cold nights when the plastic start to contract a lot its cause that small crack to leak. Either you need to wait until its cold enough to smoke the system or perform a visual inspection like i did with my boresc...

Ford AWD module no com after rear brakes?!
Переглядів 1514 днів тому
I don't think this is related but just a crap situation where a module failed while in the bay on a fairly newer vehicle. Not much to do but keep the customer happy, cause all the see is i dropped it off now something else is broken, while it was here. Some might disagree but it happens and you just got to deal with it. also when programming you will need to take a picture of a tag on the side ...
My opinion on Drilled & Slotted
Переглядів 821 день тому
They don't want them at the track, why would you want to put them on your daily. Mind you I'm not talking about high performance special alloy rotors on f1 cars, I'm talking about steel oem replacement rotors that are drilled and slotted. High Quality coated rotors is the best bet for all around performance. Comment if you disagree. like and subscribe if you do.

More for the diy folks out there. This is all in service info for the replacement of the starter. You need to slide the motor forward at least 3 inches to be able to remove intake manifold. Don't forget about the one bolt on the bottom of the intake. You will need a long extension a possible swivel for that. tap on the socket to reinstall bolt after. Astro Hub Removal & Installer Review

This is my well used Astro bearing installer which after purchasing quickly bought the Astro hub and rotor remover. Due to me not wanting to use a slide hammer to remove the hub anymore. Don't have any others to compare it to but if i had to do it again i would by one kit that has both hub remover and bearing press kit in one set. However the Astro tool work great with no issues i wore out one ...

Managed to find a fix ? My honda civic is also giving F-Can error massage, speedo & temperature gauge also not reading 😢
The fix is in the video, one wire melted to the f-can between the ecm and the can splice pack. pulling signal high when key is on. I never did hook that wire back up to prevent it happening again. Couldn't verify what it went to and everything worked, and customer hasn't returned.
Harbor freight is awesome for basically everything. Only things I go elsewhere for is the right angle impact wrench by Milwaukee or RIDGID and also grabbed the dewalt electric ratchets due to their torque being rated higher than all competitors (at that time) and they both work awesome for breaking off rusty bolts in tight compact spaces. Lastly I chose the ryobi die grinder because once again it beat all of its competitors including Milwaukee and snap on and it’s also much more compact than the Hercules one and can be used 1 handed. Other than those specific tools everything I own is Hercules 😂and for my RIDGID and ryobi tools I bought $15 battery converters on eBay so I can put my same Hercules battery’s on my ryobi and RIDGID tools😤🫡Moral of the story is I spent very little to no money in comparison to buying all Milwaukee or ridgid tools and can use (if needed) the monster 12 AH extended performance Hercules battery on any single one of my many different brands of tools. And I have the best or near best version of every tool in every category🎉all for cheap cheap🤝Yw
I like having all the same batteries and chargers for all me stuff.

fantastic money well spent
I can tell that you're beyond abusive to your tools. Yeah, I hope that Harbor Freight doesn't change your policy because that's what usually changes if people abuse the system.
if i had to buy a new one out right i would still be saving money compared to snap on.
Yep, all of the Hercules brushless are 5 year now. Congratulations on 100 subs. I have the 1st gen 1/2” compact like the one you broke. I’ve been waiting for a gen 3. The new gen 2 that you just got has less torque than the first one. That could be why someone returned it. That 4th power mode is simply a “speed” reduction after breakaway. There’s no extra gear reduction for more torque. The torque test channel had not so favorable results on the gen 2 when it came out. Hopefully gen 3 is coming soon.
good to know ill put a new video out after testing it out a while to see if i notice anything while using it. i mostly only use this for wheels.
Just got mine a two days ago. Sits good I'm the hand. Black Friday deal 207$ with fast charger and battery 5ah. Paid with HF credit card and double the cash back. So twenty off the top also. I'm smiling right now hard in fact.
nice
What are you referring to when you say primary and secondary? Is the primary the coil in this instance and secondary the plug?
I probably said something like a bad secondary can cause a bad primary. Basically what i mean is always replace your spark plugs and wire when you find a bad coil to prevent the new coil from going bad due to high resistance in the secondary. The secondary refers to any part of the system that handles high voltage. So the spark plug, wire (if equipped), and part of the coil (secondary winding) are all part of the secondary. The primary is before that and is what causes the spark in the secondary. The primary and secondary windings in the ignition coil do not touch the do all this through the collapse of a magnetic field. if the secondary is bad then the spark/ high voltage will have no where to go. All this high voltage will soon cook the driver that is inside the coil causing its failure.
Replacement chucks for drills are easy to do.. Is it brushed? Prefer my brushed drills
I'm 19 years old and am planning on buying a 20v ultra torque 1/2 impact to do suspension work and truck and car side jobs
its comes with 4 speed settings and one of them is a gear reduction mode for more torque when you need it. And the batteries matter.
Do it bro I bought my ultra torque when I was 20 or 21 and it’s been awesome ever since and I’m turning 24 in January. It beats everything
Thanks guys I bought the 1/2 and boy is it much stronger than I expected. I have 2 5ah and one 12v 2ah for the electric ratchet. Just bought a 3/8 impact, looking to get that 12v 1/4 next lol 😂 I love them
HF should release a Hercules battery powered tire inflator. I would buy two of them!
i think they do but not Hercules
I’m probably 2 years plus on my Hercules stuff. All 4 ratchets, both 1st gen compacts, 1/2” drill, 12v hex screwdriver. Zero issues. Just picked up the 20v hex driver a few weeks ago. Nasty little thing. It’ll even do most lug nuts. I have the grinder and the 20v recip saw but i don’t use them as much. Have you tried carbide bits on steel with that die grinder? Curious if it has the power needed.
good stuff
The impact driver is nuts it's almost too powerful for what I use it for
I'm looking into Hercules tools to cut half the price
Great Deal
I want a review of a technician that uses it daily.... Before I by one... I am a DeWalt person
I'm editing a update video on these right now, but well worth. They have bundle deal when buying tools, batteries and chargers together. You can even pick what length warranty or not. Don't need a receipt for returns or warranties either.
For Pennsylvania state safety inspection, any rotor or drum with a groove deeper than .015” fails inspection. I’ve always wanted to tell someone their brand new slotted rotors are junk. Lol
In mass the just cant grind into the inspection bay.
@ lol. Yeah, you don’t want that. In PA, anything less than 2/32” brake lining fails. PA Inspection can get expensive if you drive a piece of shit. But i’ve heard that some states that don’t have safety inspections, the insurance is outrageous. With my clean driving record (3yrs or more with no infractions or points) i pay around $20/month for basic liability.
I bought some used Hercules and they were able to warranty them without the receipts. I got a new paddle grinder, 4 5Ah batteries and the gen 2 3/8 impact. I also have a brushed Hercules hammer drill got it used about 5 years ago and it still works great. Mixing thinset and drilling holes.
Thanks for sharing
Wow you sound really handsome
thanks
Great Diag. Appreciate it. Strange how that side of the MAF went bad. Don't really see this code too often. Thanks
It must be an issue on these MAF sensors the new part number is different.
Lol. Rage video.
haha i got over it.
The Blue Point looks like a nice setup. The bladder eliminates the need for a lot of adapters. I had a Stant pressure tester that I used for years without issue. I got a Vevor pressure tester off of Amazon. The adapter for GM doesn't seal on our 2000 GMC.
Blue point is the best for me so far not to expensive either seem to be about the same as most kits.
whoa damn your stuff is more beat up than mine lol.
Shows How durable they are. 10 out of 10 recommend!
liked and subscribed. Thanks for the opportunity
awesome keep an eye out for the 100 subs video. currently @ 65 shouldn't be long now.
This explains a lot, my old 06 f250 I had barely would cool and I guarantee that was the issue.
actually on those older ones they had no cabin filter and the evaporator would get cover with stuff and stop air flow across the evaporator causing no a/c this is more for the newer fords.
Liked and subbed 🎉
awesome

check out video of new scope
Seems like nobody can make a purge solenoid that lasts the life of the vehicle. By far the most common evap leak.
for some makes others i never seem to replace. mostly chevy and ford.
That’s a sweet scope
used it a few times today works great
Great channel. It'll take off soon.
appreciate the support.
looking forward to the upcoming video!
Hopefully soon
I've got the Hercules 12v screwdriver with the 2ah battery, and used it to tear down a backpack blower housing without any problems, but you're right about the 4ah. It's not much than the 2 ah battery.
Maybe i got a bad one but its pays to have the extra juice. Definitely noticeable.
@@Kennystoolreview I agree, especially for the price not being much more.
I also by the name Kenny. I have the Autel MS908, and have experienced some issues with it. One thing that boils my blood is when I'm do a flight recording during a roadtest, then suddenly the scanner does a reboot right in the middle of the recording. When I got back, I threw that scanner clear across the shop where it bounced off the wall. I was sooo angry because it wasn't the first time. The stupid thing survived.
wow
I don't care for harbor freight tools. They are more diy tool in my opinion

Hey man snap on makes there electric stuff in China same as everyone else. I like to mix and match.
@@Kennystoolreview not snap on fan either. Not looking at where they build looking at quality of the materials used
@@shepherdsfleetservicesllc8147 Naw i like snap on have lots of it. just dislike the performance of there electric stuff for their prices.
I can’t find that gauge anywhere! They don’t make yours anymore with the quick disconnects
which one snap on or icon?
@@KennystoolreviewThe snap on, I like that you can easily dead head or test In-line. My coworker has it and we are always borrowing it.

You have the uTest Advanced Terminal Test Kit from AES wave? It’s an absolute must have.
I made my own way cheaper.
Snapon is an absolute joke
Its not a joke, just overpriced. I have tons of there stuff always the highest quality and a guy the comes to me every week and replaces any broken stuff for me. Time is money in this world he saves me time and that puts money in my pocket. I have to drive 45 mins i both directions to get to my nearest harbor freight.
@@Kennystoolreviewtook me 3 months for snap on to warranty a 9/16 deep well socket and they come by every week.
Idk why everyone talks about HF when there’s other box stores like HD, Lowe’s, Amazon, Acme, and other places that sell tools of quality like JDTVCo. That’s why not being a tool snob is the best of both worlds and as long as you buy high quality lifetime warranty tools you will never have to worry about anything like myself and many other guys use.
Very nice review!! Enjoyed it!!😊
Thank You
In my 43 years of wrenching, i’ve never needed a grinder and a 6 pack of cutoff wheels to remove a rotor. Lol. Holy shit. Maybe a bluetooth microphone would help to keep his shenanigans out of your video. I’ve never seen one “hunting” for full tilt like that, but it reminded me of a mid teens grand Cherokee i had in the shop maybe 2 years ago. Dual zone climate control- drivers side wasn’t working. New actuator didn’t fix it. Removed actuator and found the door not moving smoothly by hand. Got approval for 8 hour exploratory surgery to remove the dash and split the box. Turns out instead of using open cell foam strips to seal the doors in their full tilt positions, Chrysler decided to mold a rubber flap on to the edges of the doors. Probably would have been an ok idea, but they used a rubber that turned in to a sticky tar and the doors bound up. The doors were a scoop shape, shaped like a can of beans sliced in half vertically, and the actuator turns the one end. And with the other end basically being glued in place, the plastic scoop door ended up permanently twisted a bit, so the corners of the doors would snag the inside of the box. No individual parts available. Only available as an entire assembly. I removed all of the gooey rubber flaps, cleaned the inside of the box with break clean, and trimmed the edges of the doors so they would at least move freely. What a nightmare. Maybe the wrangler uses the same rubber edged doors? Maybe you can start a gofundme and get rotor-man a bigger hammer.
haha ill let him know
