Please can you send a link to the foam. Thank you
Can you relap a used valve from a different head? Currently I'm running into an issue where I have lapped a brand new valve on a Volkswagen head and it seems that the more I lap it the more it leaks when I do a water leak down test. Any suggestions man?
Technically your not taking any material off while polishing a valve into a seat. My guess would be that you got unlucky with the used valve with too loose tolerances of the seat
This was a very good video, I learned a lot, thank you for posting.
There's a super complete Beetle, I want one for my collection
It's a sin to do this with Beetles 😢😢
I takes compound around the whole seat probably better didn't look like full coverage. I would have put it on my finger and definitely made it around the whole valve for sure thinner, Not to do a better job since it is kinda the valves your doing it on is not good if they didn't do a full circle for full coverage.
Cut a slot and push the wrench down in. You can triple the amount of wrenches. Your doing way too much tracing and cutting.
And Thus. The Junk Began
Amazing Video

Good parenting, taking the time to let your child he is more important. Awesome!!!
Where did you get the the rubber please leave me a text thanks
Amazon
Wow! This f***ing idiot doesn't even know how to hold a hammer.
heat is the answer.
Thanks for this video!
Good job ..... your disassembly is way more than I've ever done. One thing I notice you didn't pull was the accelerator pump non-return ball bearing. At 11:33 your left thumb is above the pin that keeps the ball bearing in
You really shouldn’t lap them dry in the guides
This guy Is an amateur
The "giggitty" part had me laughing out loud 🤣
Reorganizing your toolbox wow. What a great shop. You need to reorganize your life buddy. Terrible shop. No organization here. I bet you don’t know where a 10 mm is 99 percent of the time
What's your problem?
What a piece of crap. Did all this editing for nothing. Makin America proud. What a waste of time for your workers.
Those yellow splitters are for placing a resistor in to mimic an airbag. If you place the resistor in place of the airbag, it can tell you if your issue is the airbag or the wiring
Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos dónde tienes tú taller saludos desde México
Is it okay removing the black coating that’s on the backs and faces of the valves? I have done this and am not sure if I have damaged them by doing so, Have you had any issues?
i believe that is a nitride coating that some valves come with and should not be removed
Its like haphazardly sloppy
At least you didn't ruin the valve cover bail!
What were you thinking?!
Thanks! You did a great job man that came out awesome. Love how you did the accent color under. I like having a place for each tool then I usually don’t loose any
I read somewhere 12v automatic choke resistor is between 20 and 12 ohms. Mine mounted on my 30 PICT 2 is actually 13 ohm...
Great! that's the best way on how to destroy the head of your vw beetle. perfect!!!
Which way do you turn the butterfly screws to get them out. Mine are stuck.
Great video but terrible audio, can barely hear you
Do you have a surplus carburetor that I can buy? And how much it is?
Romeo Derong sorry bud I don’t. Check your local VW swap meets or look for a VW club in your area. Someone is bound to have one.
Remind me never ever to let you guys work on my Beetle cylinder heads!!
Nice, old but still looking good
Great video and step by step how to on replacing the guides, I will be attempting this soon on my pauter heads.
It says how NOT to do it mate!
Are all carbs the same ? No matter the years?
LIFTED DRIFTED No. check the specific type. Pict 34 vs 30. The principles and techniques are the same though.
Great video, honestly I've never felt the need to fully go thru the carb how you did. Imo just pop out and unclog the jets and soak the rest of it in diesel to get it clean
any man that can continuously swing a sledge like that I wish I had working for me good channel keep it up
You've got some good projects there, and enough parts cars to make a good start on them. I'd use the red 64 sunroof shell with a link pin front and irs rear hybrid floor pan.
Watched both. Awesome videos. Thanks!
Power Wagons are what helped made this country great! Thanks for sharing.
I started to text you to see if you found the hood. Now I don't need to.
I've changed my mind, I think I want a Town Wagon instead ;)
"Giggity"
Got excited at the Summit shot. HAHAHA you got me! Great idea on keeping the hardware with the part. I usually put the bits and bobs in sandwich bags and tape them to the part. I like your idea better.
Where were you in 1987 when i needed you? And where the F#€k was UA-cam? Great videos Thanks for creating!
excellent video one question could you get the kit of spare parts for spikes and gaskets for the carburetor solex h30 / 31 pic? I'm from Zacatecas Mexico
