Michael Parenti - Free Market Mythology
not putting blizzard of ozz nor Ace of Spades is disrespect
Need link for that pic
it's nice to see a list by an actual metalhead and not some tourist who just lists the best selling albums from each year.
Yes the free market harmonizes individual self interest with collective well being through voluntary exchanges whereas socialism allows ruthless people to plunder without the consent of other parties.
Can't have a free market with so many people and such scarce resources and finders keepers homesteading logic. You might have something like a free market with a single tax a la Georgism paid out to everyone.
That's not Parenti, there was no problem with the sound system
say please name song iron maiden this video
Remember Tomorrow
I very much enjoyed your choices. Thanks for making this vid
No Number of the Beast, no Rust in peace, no Symbolic or Sound of Perseverance ??
1994 pantera.far beyond driven
De todo un poco chido🤘🏻
Not bad until it gets to the 90’s. The only one I agreed with for that decade was Storm of the Light’s Bane. It ain’t my list though so whatever.
GOOD FUCKING CHOICES FOR THE 80S YES
Naaahh 84 is ride the lightning an 88 ajfa
holy metal elitism
What's wrong with that?
@@Nicolas1909_ cuz you gatekeep the genre and are assholes lol
@@OzanT-dt8mk 1. Lmao rent free 2. Gatekeeping should be state-mandated
What a fucking horrendous list
No KISS Alive ??? Big Mistake
Not metal
@@ArnyColeman Question of taste... back than it was considered Metal
You surely mean 'your favourite metal album of each year'.
Yeah it's my channel, of course you're gonna see my opinion and my opinion alone. Imagine trying to be objective when it comes to music.
Ok, that's a ridiculous list
E.g.?
@@Nicolas1909_ tg
Why ridiculous??? Tell me. How comes this is so bad that the effort isn't even worth appreciation??? C'mon, tell me, which point ???
@@Nicolas1909_1982 Id put Number of the Beast perhaps!?? 1998 Death SOP..? 1990 Rust in Peace anyone..?
@@Nicolas1909_ Fairy
1990 Slayer - Seasons in the abyss.
King Crimson,not metal!
Maybe but Sabbath was already overrepresented and I'm not too big on Budgie. 70s metal was limited
@@Nicolas1909_ Limited yes. It's really hard to define metal in the early years as there are plenty of crossovers with blues/rock/folk/prog etc etc. Then again lots of other possible choices to be made [outside mainstream rock/hardrock]. Not album wise but separate songs defenitely [Toad, 3 man army, blue cheer, Iron butterfly, Wish bone ash, Bedemon, Blast, Flower Travellin Band, Dust etc etc etc] Anywayz, taking this into account, I dont think this song of King Crimson is a bad choice. I was lucky enough to be spoonfed by my Dad end 60's/beginning 70's with the hardest rock released that time.
Based for putting crimson
Thank you for you efforts Nicolas. Much appreciated to new fans and old fans as well.
That's what I love about metal. Even though I don't agree with all of this, I can't disagree with any of it 🤟
1982 with Death or Glory rules, the album cover is sensational :--D

This song kills me in the most beautiful way every time I listen to it. Tool makes me cry. One of the only bands that does.
4:51 the best customer interaction... These customers got more than they paid for.
Isn't Free Market Capitalism an Oxymoron?
where's the full lecture?

Ye-e-e-e-e-e-e-s-ss! It will "trick"-le down, you will be tricked! Wait for Besos and Musk, and Koch, to "give" you! After they launch themselves, into space, and land on Mars...

Exactly.
This is pretty awesome
"Hey bro, do you mind if I borrow your pen?" Maynard: 5:01

Do you want to know what the sound of someone conquering his fears is?
What a rare song.

I swear idk what it is but of all the tool songs that is my favorite.. when he screams " I don't mind"
Where can you find this picture?

I DONT FUCKING MIIIIND!!!

That's the popular narrative but real capitalists like myself know better. Your power is in your people as a capitalist. Without them you have no fuel for your Capital engine unless of course you're talking about robots and AI. That's a whole nother level where the human element is stripped and you have total control over your algorithms and a robot labor. Parenti fails to see in all the talks I've seen him in, to understand the different forms of capitalism. Like industrial capitalism or financial capitalism or crony capitalism and to him they are all in one big capitalism bucket. That capitalism is disgusting and gross but it's not and doesn't have to be. It's like anytime I see a left-winger give examples of their opponent on the right they use the most absurd extreme to make their argument and you just can't do that in all honesty. Volt libertarian 💯
Lol. Can’t help but just laugh at this naïveté. Btw libertarian heroes like Milton Friedman supported literal dictators (Pinochet for example) bc they cared more about profits than people. Doesn’t matter if it’s “libertarian” or whatever nonsense. You’ve been fooled bc those with wealth & power would simply be even more free to exploit everyone in that sort of system
All forms that capitalism have taken, however you want to dress them up, are at its best highly productive and efficient at converting massive parts of the natural world into profit based in no other method but exploitation of the vast majority of the public and oppressive violence to scare them into obedience. Thats at its best. At its worst (so far) we have seen what it has become and the unimaginable horrors systematically committed for profit and insatiable growth.
Name a successful libertarian anything
Mate, capitalism evolves according to changing material conditions. Todays capitalism is very different to the capitalism of the 1800's, because through primitive accumulation and imperialist value transfer wealth has been concentrated in the hands of corporations and the class interest of the metropolitan proletariat has been tied to the bourgeoisie. You can't change capitalism back to the time before monopolistic finance capital without breaking up those monopolies, which I'm sure you'd consider socialistic, and then you'd be back in a time of intense market competition leading to the horrific worker exploitation we saw at the time. And eventually the natural laws of motion of capitalism would lead us right back to the same position. We need total socialism, not more capitalism.
Bruh all that big innovation was started by public taxpayer money, not profits, wanna see profit driven innovation? Watch shopping channels and cum on that sweet ideology.
Thank you Jimmy , i felt , what you composed , for the longest time , I herd and listened , as well......they do such anything , .....
I'm not judging or anything, but why do people feel the need to call him "Jimmy"? Is it to be more personal or something? He changed his name, so I don't understand why people would call him that.
04:43 - 05:05 I can listen to that 200 times in row... 🥵
Those are rookie numbers. You gotta pump it up
They do A I ,,,,, most certainly.....
They can fix , anything.....
