Let’s create some beachy coffee themed things to go into a journal.

Hi Dawn! I’ve been wanting to try this but I was worried. I live in Texas and it gets really hot during the summer. What do you think would happen to the waxed paper? Would it melt again and mess up my journal? Thanks for any input!
@@bellajipsee6507 great question! I take baby powder and give it a light dusting, rub it around, then wipe off as much as i can. That seems to help.

Nice ideas , the fabric covers turned out beautifully...I am working on my first fabric cover for my swap partner as well... I've made many junk journals out of paper but I was kind of intimidated to make a fabric cover...so I did make my first one for Dephemerber 2024 and it wasn't as hard as I thought....I will be making many more in the future, thanks for all your tips.
Leaves can be done this way. Allows them to be pliable and put in journals.

Some days can start out rough but you have the right attitude to make it sunshine! P. S. Not sure what type of phone you have but I set my updates to only happen in the middle of the night when nothing is active to disturb. I have an android, Galaxy 22 that automatically sends things to the Google cloud so I truly never lose anything.

Dawn, it was fun watching you enjoying your swap items. I don’t have a UA-cam channel (maybe someday) I laughed when you said everything smelled like laundry detergent, that was from the shave cream print. I am sensitive to fragrance and tried unsuccessfully to find an unscented brand of shave cream when I wanted to try this.

I’ve had some TH fabric I’ve had for years. I’ve made journal covers, pockets, tags, clusters, fabric flips, etc. you can use it do nothing you would do with paper. That top one with the teal ish color would be a beautiful journal cover.

I been wanting a die cutting machine. I did come up in a cuddle bug. Crank machine. But hit got the plates. To it. So no good to me yet 😢

I don’t have this one ,so no help there. I would think you can buy a new mat. I have the Tim Holtz Vagabond. The last time I used the 3D embossing folder, I used the wrong sandwich. It got stuck in the machine. I thought I’d never get it out but I did. Oh yes, won’t do that again.

This machine is not made for Tim Holtz embossing folders because they are TOO thick!
Of course you can use it with TIm Holtz 3D embossing folders - just find a sandwich that equals the thinkness of a normal "sandwich". If I remember correctly it should work with the plastic and metal shim as top and bottom layer and the 3D Embossing folder in between. I am no longer using any of the original plates as the y break to often - I use whatever material I get hold of - self-healing mats work great! (of course not for the embossing folder, but for die-cutting)
