Bought this truck for $1000 bucks and made it into a very nice driver
6.9 idi Diesel, New injectors, return lines, Fuel filter, oil & filter
rebuilt C6 automatic
Cut, buffed, polished, and waxed the paint, made it look 100x better.
New tailgate paint matched
Deep cleaned interior, new steering column and window motors.
Many other miscellaneous parts were replaced also.
Truck cruised like a dream, got roughly 12mpg in town.
Sold it in March 2022

Rebuilding my 360 into a 390 in my 1967 F100 The engine had been rebuilt before it was bored .030 over and had 30 over 360 pistons. A clip of my fresh 360 to 390 rebuild. Fresh hone and rings Reused stock cam and 360 piston heads Rebuilt C8AE-H heads Edelbrock performer Intake Hooker Long tubes headers Took a while to get it to start because my distributer was 180 out I didn't have to break in a cam which is why I didn't hold it at 2000rpm the driving clip is my 3rd drive with it, still doing some tuning.

I swapped my 1967 MX Cruise-O-Matic out for a used Borg Warner T18 that I took out of a 1971 F250. My 1967 F100 Ranger, long bed with a 360 auto. Picked up from Sacramento County on Jun 2nd 2019. Needs brakes and a new gas tank or repair the current one. Will be a fun project.

What all modifications did you do from the old transmission to the new one? Is it the same crossmember and driveshaft that it has before?. I have a 63 body swap onto a 75 so I have an FE and c6 but I want a manual I already have the bell housing a clutch pedal and the z bar with a clutch fork but want to know how much more work I will need to do before it fits good
@@diegoangelavila9549 the front driveshaft is from the donor truck. But the crossmember is the same.
Maybe a f250 spindle, the seal should be tapped into the back of the rotor

That’s what engine was in the 1966 Ford LTD that popped up for sale near me almost 3 years ago. Too bad I wasn’t able to get in touch with the seller despite doing everything possible. Oh well, there’s other ones that will pop up eventually as time passes on.

Yep, stock brackets. Hoses came with new C clips too

Most any old manual..at a put in 2nd, then up to 1st no grinding that granny was the chit for boat ramps and starting up steep hills with a camper and boat in tow. That truck will be on the road for at LEAST another 20 yrs....todays trucks wont . Back when stuff was made to last, usa pride .If life happens put it off to the side, you can always come back to it one day.
Proper looking truck...glasspacks and them go together since day 1 No worries of an accident in that one! They will be the crumple zone not you. Great color combo
First gear is great for teaching kids. You don't need the gas to start LOL

Awesome, man, I got the truck when I was 16, I'm 20 now. I was driving it every day for about 2 years. Still runs right now. I'm just waiting to do some more upgrades and repair a few things on it soon. I plan on making some videos of all that eventually. Thanks for watching

I think the transmission on this is a compound, due to that 1st might be classified as a deep under.

Nice work but I’m pretty sure the calipers are on the wrong side of the rotors FYI.
He has them on correctly. On the F100 you can’t put them on the rear because they will hit the steering components. Tie rods run through the radius arms.
I can only get to about 12 mph in 2nd gear

Justine case is right. 1st gear is granny. Only used for heavy loads when starting off. Otherwise you start off in 2nd gear. As for resting your hand on the shifter, back when I had my F-100 390 ci, I rested my hand on my girlfriends leg. Life never got any better 🙂
