Absolutely fascinating. I was surprised to see that bees use the metric system.

At about 49:04 you give the target weight for a singe as about 95 lbs. How is that possible? A full 10 frame deep weighs about 70 lbs. How do you get it to 95 lbs?

there is an easier way to lower the queen in the lower box ..... with the smoker ...... take out one frame and expand the space between the other nine frames ..... then smoke them well with the smoker ..... repeat the procedure after 1-2 minutes ..... the queen will lower itself into the lower box by the influence of smoke.

The public at large likes to eat....take a look around, it's apparent precious few are going without. The public also demands affordable (I'll avoid the term cheap) food. The public wants to feed their families and wide variety of meats, fruits, vegeatables, poultry, fish and grains. Yet, they have no clue about how it's produced. The public sits glued to an electronic device that spews vitriol against the chemical companies and the pharmaceutical industries, which are largely responsible for tools that protect the food chain from weeds, pests and diseases...including our personal health. Get a headache, they'll often reach for a Bayer aspirin and whilecwolfing down a mouthful of slop, they'll complain about the bug spray that Bayer manufactures as harming their health. They don't like hearing it but the facts are that most of the complainers are liberal socialists that live in their cozy suburban concrete jungle homes, kept warm and/or cool by electricity that they think should come from a windmill. ..but mostly comes from coal or gas fired plants...and that hamburger comes from a cellophane package at Kroger and veggies from the frozen section. No clue how they got there...but they expect to have them....free if they can get it.
