I find what I find, and I have what I have. If you are looking for high quality audio and steady-handed camera work and prefer that, this channel may not be your jam. I have zero interest in profiting off of this whatsoever. This is purely to share music and sometimes write nonsense about some of it. I look at records as an explorative journey and there is and will always be new things to discover. Music is one of the only things that transcends cultural and regional boundaries. It’s amazing we even came up with it in the first place. Music is much better than war.
I have plenty of 45’s that already have several videos of them, trying to focus on 45’s that don’t have videos, but there will be some that do from time to time. The good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, and other things will be appearing on this channel. Records are fun. Hit the dollar bin. Binge watching shows etc. on screens is bullshit, and mass media is mass hypnosis. Play your records! All of them!

The West Winds = Sacramento trio, first known as The Tri-Lites. Burning members were sisters Bonnie & Mona Donato & Ron Andre. Songs include Hot Dog! Here He Comes! (1963) & Oowee, Oowee, Oowee, Oowee (1964). Ron & Bonnie wed in 1969. Ron is now State Farm agent in Sacramento. His daughter Nancy replaced mom Bonnie eventually & other sister Linda Donato replaced Mona when she left to form a family. Anyway, I like this. Great hard fuzz guitar bridge. Thank q for posting it.

I am 60 so never went to the Wheel , Studied several books on the Subject ...some with a logical story others not , but Hey , I was only there in Spirit not fact , so I can't quantify , but I am Obsessed with the place and what it did to create the movement we know of today. Roger Eagle was more " Rock & RnB" In taste, so Big Bopper & Screaming Jay where aired a lot , went off to the Blue Note in 66? To play his stuff there instead., he got fed - up being asked for Super - Fast records , Preferring more substance . In a way its a parallel to the present day , & Christ I Never thought I would say this ... But 4 Beats to the Bar ( Regular) Northern in the main bores me nowadays...Maybe its "Me Age " Keep these Comin ," Quirky Rules " ! 200Kid.
Aw thank you! Age and fast stuff are totally interconnected for sure. 15 or so years ago I was way more into fast stuff, and if I guest dj’ed somewhere it went down quite well. Fast forward to now-ish, Gems “I’ll be there” and sapphires “slow fizz” will straight-up clear the dance floor of people around this general area. I still love some fast stuff for sure, but mid tempo is my favorite.

Found it in Joshua Tree, California. This mysterious fellow would occasionally be set up in front of a business , and would have a few 45’s for a few dollars each or less. He always had interesting and obscure ones.
